On May 29, 2025, NIO ONVO announced the completion of the full push of NT.Coconut 1.2.0 (Coconut system). The upgrade was originally scheduled to be released in March, but due to the need to comply with the new regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Intelligent Connected Vehicle Software Upgrade Management Notice", it was postponed to this month after filing and review.
Safety performance breakthrough
The world's first end-to-end AEB system, with a protection range extended to 240 degrees (covering 60 degrees left and right blind spots);
The risk avoidance model is trained based on massive real driving data, and the false trigger rate is reduced by 35%.
Intelligent interaction upgrade
The industry's first in-car McDonald's voice ordering: supports full-process voice operations such as package replacement and store arrival time prediction;
Added 12 car control commands such as voice control 360-degree imaging and automatic parking.
Entertainment system evolution
Wu Mai K song 2.0 is equipped with AI accompaniment/sound effects/voiceprint optimization, supporting QQ Music and NetEase Cloud dual platforms;
Added 6 fun modes such as Minions sound effects, and real-time noise reduction algorithms to improve voice clarity.
According to the new regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China on February 28, "key software changes" involving active safety, energy management, etc. must be filed before they can be pushed. The ONVO R&D team supplemented 7 safety certification materials for this purpose and finally passed the approval.
Based on the characteristics of the ONVO L60 model, the following features are launched simultaneously:
Courtyard mode: solves the problem of false triggering of Bluetooth keys at close range;
Dynamic tire pressure monitoring: the car machine adds a temperature compensation algorithm prompt;
This upgrade marks ONVO as the first brand to achieve end-to-end active safety technology in the 150,000-level market, and is expected to promote the standardization of industry OTA management.
