On July 31, 2025, NIO's sub-brand, Onvo, officially launched its flagship L90. With a striking price starting at RMB 193,900 (with battery leasing option), it significantly lowers the barrier to entry for a 5.1-meter-long, three-row pure electric SUV. With a 3110mm wheelbase, a six-passenger, 10-box cargo capacity, and NIO's network of 3,400 battery swap stations, the new model addresses two key pain points for family users: space anxiety and battery refueling anxiety.
Unprecedented Dimensions: 5145×1998×1766mm with a 3110mm wheelbase, the third-row legroom reaches 892mm, and the backrests feature eight electrically adjustable positions, allowing adults up to 175cm tall to comfortably ride.
A revolutionary cargo area: The 240L front trunk (the largest among all-electric SUVs in the Chinese market) and 430L rear trunk can accommodate seven 20-inch suitcases even when all three rows are occupied, achieving a maximum load capacity of "6 people + 10 suitcases."
Cabin Design: The vehicle features a wraparound layout, second-row Zero Gravity seats that recline flat with one-touch operation, and three rows of ultra-wide 532mm cushions. The vehicle is available in three color schemes: Cloud Beige, Night Black, and Moon Banyan Brown.
High-voltage Platform: The full 900V architecture enables a 400km range in 10 minutes of charging. The rear-wheel drive model has a CLTC range of 605km and consumes only 14.5kWh per 100km.
Crash Safety: The body-in-white is 84% aluminum alloy and high-strength steel. Equipped with nine airbags (including a center airbag), it successfully survived a rear-end collision with an 8-ton truck at 50km/h and a pincer attack with a 30-ton stationary truck.
Lightweight: The rear-wheel drive version has a curb weight of 2250kg, 200-300kg lighter than its peers. The four-wheel drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

Onvo The L90 offers two vehicle purchase options: a whole vehicle purchase starting at RMB 279,900, and a battery lease starting at RMB 193,900 (with a monthly battery lease of RMB 899). The first batch of vehicles will be delivered on August 1st. It directly competes with the Lixiang L8 extended-range version and the AITO M8 pure electric version. With its battery swap system and space advantages, it is expected to change the purchasing decision-making process for family users.
