On October 14th, BYD Denza Automotive General Manager Li Hui revealed that Denza is fully prepared for the N8L's launch at the end of October. Pricing for the N8L is as follows:
Prestige: Pre-sale price RMB 319,800;
Flagship: Pre-sale price RMB 349,800.
As Denza's 2025 strategic model, the N8L is positioned as a "technological family flagship SUV" with a pre-sale price range of RMB 319,800-349,800, a RMB 70,000 reduction from the flagship N9. All models come standard with a pre-sale bonus worth RMB 15,000 (including a two-tone exterior option), targeting competitors such as the Lixiang L8 and AITO M8.
Dimensions: 5200×1999×1820mm, wheelbase: 3075mm, 2+2+2 six-seat layout;
Innovative third row: 100mm sliding and 121-degree adjustment, equipped with independent air conditioning and heating, comfortable for adults up to 1.75 meters tall;
Storage: Trunk expandable to 1128L, with a built-in 51L hidden compartment, and 100% stroller loading pass rate.
Five-screen interactive system: Includes a 50-inch AR-HUD, a 17.3-inch central control screen, and rear entertainment screens, powered by a 4nm chip;
Eye of God B system: Roof-mounted LiDAR supports city and highway No-Apparent Assistance (NOA), and parking assistance technology solves parking challenges in tight spaces;
Drone Expansion: Optional roof-mounted drone pod enables 72km/h cruise control and automatic charging.
Plug-in Hybrid System: 2.0T (152kW) + three electric motors (total power: 925 horsepower), 0-60 sprint in 3.9 seconds;
Battery Technology: 46.99kWh battery pack, WLTC pure electric range of 170km (160km for the drone version), combined range of 1,300km;
Energy Consumption: Fuel consumption at low battery level is 6.95L/100km, and fast charging from 30% to 80% takes only 19 minutes.
Compared to competitors, the N8L stands out with its "standard features equal top-of-the-line" strategy: Yunni-A suspension, zero-gravity seats, and Devialet audio are standard across the entire range. Data from used car platforms indicates an estimated 60% value retention rate during the pre-sale period, exceeding the average for its class.
The BYD Denza N8L will officially launch on October 25th, and the first batch of display vehicles have arrived at stores nationwide. As a key move in BYD's premium strategy, its ability to disrupt the 300,000 RMB family SUV market will warrant continued attention.
