In the increasingly competitive micro electric vehicle market, a powerful new player has officially entered the scene. Aishang Auto, a new brand of Liuzhou Wuling New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Automobile Group, recently launched its first model, the A100C, with a starting price of RMB 39,800. The brand announced immediate delivery upon launch, marking its entry into the mass-market commuter market with full commitment.
As an A00-class pure electric small car, the Aishang A100C features a classic 3-door, 4-seat design. Its length, width, and height are 3285 mm, 1708 mm, and 1550 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 1980 mm. Its compact dimensions give it a natural advantage in congested urban areas and tight parking spaces.
The new car features a clever design. Its front fascia features an anthropomorphic design, a world-first "mood blush," and two color-adjustable sections below the headlights, adding a touch of personalization. Available in seven exterior colors and featuring a floating roof, the overall design is stylish and appealing, perfectly tailored to the tastes of young customers.
The interior of the Aishang A100C is conceived with practicality in mind. The hand-operated shift lever not only facilitates operation but also frees up space for the center console. The car features a floating center console display and over 17 storage compartments, fully addressing the need for everyday storage.
The interior is available in three color options, and the four-seat layout is sufficient for most urban commutes. The rear seats fold down to expand storage space when not in use, showcasing the versatile and practical space of a minicar.
Powered by a single electric motor with a maximum power of 35 kW and a peak torque of 83 Nm, the Aishang A100C boasts a top speed of 101 km/h, fully capable of meeting the demands of urban driving.
Battery-wise, the vehicle is equipped with a 17.65 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by Guoxuan High-Tech, providing a range of 220 km under CLTC conditions. It is also equipped with fast and slow charging ports for flexible and efficient charging.
Safety is another highlight of the Aishang A100C. Built on the Lingqiao Architecture, the A-platform architecture, the new vehicle features an 8H high-strength cage-type body, with 63% high-strength steel comprising the body, providing robust protection for the passenger compartment. Driver and passenger airbags, front and rear dual cameras, and other features are also readily available.
Surprisingly, this small car features front and rear independent suspension, achieving a top speed of 68 km/h in the Moose Test, an excellent performance for its class and ensuring superior handling stability and ride comfort. Furthermore, practical features such as automatic parking and comfort parking are standard across the entire vehicle range.
The Aishang A100C enters the market with a starting price of 39,800 RMB, precisely targeting urban commuting, young first-time buyers, and family supplementary vehicles. To further enhance its competitiveness, the company has introduced a number of benefits, including a 3,000 RMB replacement subsidy, charging stations, free lifetime maintenance for the first owner, and a lifetime warranty on the three-electric system.
Notably, the Aishang brand emphasizes a "mass production first" and "delivery upon launch" strategy. The first mass-produced car officially rolled off the production line on September 25th, aiming to break the industry's "futures" (car manufacturing) phenomenon and eliminate the long wait for consumers to purchase their car. With the A00-class pure electric vehicle market experiencing 32% year-over-year growth, Aishang Auto, with its ample inventory, is expected to quickly respond to market demand and secure a niche in the fierce competition.
