Baojun Auto officially launched the Yueye 2nd Anniversary Edition on November 7th, further enhancing its personalized positioning through new unique color schemes and detailed upgrades. As a representative of the "boxy" design in the small pure electric SUV market, the new car retains its original rugged style while attracting young consumers with refreshed colors.
The 2025 Baojun Yueye continues the iconic boxy body design, with a closed front grille seamlessly integrated with horizontally arranged LED headlights, complemented by an off-road style bumper, creating a compact yet rugged visual image. The core highlight of this upgrade is the first introduction of a misty blue body color, using a high-saturation color process that presents a gradient texture under both natural and artificial light, enhancing the overall sense of style. The body dimensions remain unchanged, with a length, width, and height of 3381/1685/1721 mm and a wheelbase of 2110 mm. The roof rack, flared wheel arches, and black side skirts continue the rugged style, while the newly equipped high-gloss black multi-spoke wheels further enhance the sporty feel.
The interior of the second anniversary edition continues the "Joy Box" design concept, offering two interior color schemes: black and white. The center console features a layered layout, with details such as the air vents and door handles finished in the same color as the body, creating a contrasting effect. It is equipped with dual 10.25-inch LCD instrument and center screens, running the Kios infotainment system, supporting voice recognition control, remote operation via mobile app, and OTA upgrades.
Standard features include front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, cruise control, and keyless start. Higher-spec models are upgraded with the Osmo Driving Assist system, integrating active braking, full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and intelligent parking functions, improving driving safety and convenience. Storage has been optimized with improved cupholder and gear shift knob placement, and a new 35-liter front trunk has been added.
The powertrain continues to use a rear-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 50 kW and a peak torque of 140 Nm, achieving a start-up acceleration response time of less than 0.3 seconds. The battery pack uses a 28.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a pure electric range of 303 km under CLTC conditions. Charging supports DC fast charging, with a 30%-80% charge taking only about 35 minutes, suitable for daily commuting and short-distance travel.
The Baojun Yueye series has established a differentiated advantage in the sub-100,000 RMB pure electric SUV market thanks to its unique boxy design. The second-anniversary edition reinforces its positioning targeting young users and urban commuting scenarios through updated color schemes. Currently, there are no directly competing boxy SUV products in its class. Its 3-door, 4-seat layout emphasizes flexible space, with rear seats that can be folded down to accommodate both passenger and cargo needs.
