Positioned as a mid-to-large-sized plug-in hybrid sedan, the 2026 GEELY Galaxy Xingyao 8 is crafted based on the GEELY Galaxy brand's "Ripple Aesthetics" design language. It features body dimensions of 5018 × 1918 × 1480 mm, a wheelbase reaching 2928 mm, and an aerodynamic drag coefficient as low as 0.25 Cd. As a flagship model under the GEELY Galaxy brand, it retains iconic design elements from the current generation—such as frameless doors and a fastback silhouette—while introducing three all-new models within the "Yuanhangjia" (Voyager) series on March 30, 2026. Together with the retained 130km EM-i Premium Edition, these four models form a brand-new product matrix, further expanding the range of choices available to consumers.

1. Exterior and Interior Design

1.1 Exterior

The Yuanhangjia series introduces two exclusive new body colors: "Rizhao Gold" and "Danxia Mineral." These join the existing "Jihai Blue," "Shanhe Green," "Dianluo Silver," and "Jianzhan Black" options, offering a total of six color choices. "Rizhao Gold" boasts a strong metallic luster, evoking the image of morning light breaking through the mist; "Danxia Mineral" draws inspiration from the Danxia landforms of Zhangye, presenting a gradient transition from bronze to deep brown, achieved through a jewelry-grade paint process that creates a distinct dual-tone interplay of light and shadow. The "Xinghe" (Galaxy) edition models also offer an optional "Yaoye" (Night Glow) Package, which includes Yaoye-themed body trim, a front splitter, and a sporty rear bumper, further accentuating the vehicle's athletic character.

1.2 Interior

The interior introduces a new "Xinghe Gray" color scheme and utilizes ultra-fine suede microfiber materials to elevate the overall sense of luxury. The cabin maintains a wraparound design, featuring a combination of a 15.4-inch floating central touchscreen and a 10.2-inch LCD instrument cluster, complemented by a flat-bottomed, two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and a column-mounted electronic gear selector. All models come standard with a 23-speaker Flyme Sound 7.1.4 panoramic audio system, paired with "AI Tuning Master" technology to deliver an immersive auditory experience. Furthermore, the interior is equipped with features such as 256-color ambient lighting and wireless mobile phone charging, creating a driving environment that is both comfortable and infused with cutting-edge technology.

2. Powertrain and Range Performance

All four models are equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, offering two distinct powertrain options: EM-i and EM-P. Specifically, the EM-i version features a 1.5L engine with a thermal efficiency of 47.26% and an ultra-low CLTC fuel consumption rate of just 3.32L per 100 km (in charge-sustaining mode). The EM-P version is powered by a 1.5T engine, delivering a combined torque output of 605 N·m and achieving a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 6.35 seconds.

In terms of range, three models within the Yuanhangjia series are equipped with the 28.3 kWh "Aegis Gold Brick" battery pack, offering a CLTC pure-electric range of 225 km and a combined range (with a full tank and full charge) exceeding 1,725 km. The remaining model—the 130 km EM-i Premium Edition—features a pure-electric range of 130 km. The Aegis Gold Brick battery boasts exceptional durability, with a cell cycle life exceeding 4,500 cycles; it also supports fast charging from 30% to 80% capacity in just 15 minutes, striking an optimal balance between long-distance capability and user convenience.

3. Intelligent Driving Features

Three models in the Yuanhangjia series are equipped with the "Qianli Haohan" H5 intelligent driving assistance solution. This system features a comprehensive sensor suite comprising one LiDAR unit, three millimeter-wave radars, 11 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic sensors—totaling 27 sensing elements—to achieve full 360-degree situational awareness. The system supports full-scenario Urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) functionality, covering 19 high-frequency driving scenarios such as autonomous lane changes, intersection navigation, and construction zone avoidance. It also introduces a new "Small Blue Light" interactive indicator to enhance the vehicle's visibility and recognition by roadside traffic. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with features such as AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) and AES (Automatic Emergency Evasion Assist), providing comprehensive safety protection for every journey.

The "Xinghe Edition" models within the Yuanhangjia series feature VIP electric executive seats. These seats offer extended sliding rails, ventilation, heating, and massage functions, with a backrest recline range adjustable from 31° to 41°; the front seats also support a one-touch full-recline function.
