Especificación

As the brand's flagship medium and large SUV, the 2026 LEAPMOTOR C16 is fully upgraded based on the 2025 model, focusing on the concept of "super comfortable, intelligent and long-range". The new car is available in 6-seater and 5-seater versions. The 5-seater version supports the one-button electric bed mode for the first time, with a trunk volume of 1663L. The 6-seater version optimizes the legroom of the three rows (+20mm) and the width of the central channel (190mm). The whole series is equipped with 128-line laser radar and Qualcomm 8650 intelligent driving chip as standard, supporting L2+ functions such as high-speed navigation assistance, and the car is equipped with Snapdragon 8295 chip and 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen. In terms of range, the pure electric version is increased to 630km (CLTC), the extended-range version has a pure electric range of 280km, and the fast charging time is shortened to 19 minutes (30%-80%). In terms of comfort, Nappa leather seats, 10-point massage for the first and second rows, 8.1L car refrigerator and FSD variable damping suspension are added.

Seats and space layout

2026 model adds a 5-seat version: supports one-touch electric bed mode (2-meter flat space), trunk volume reaches 1663L, and is compatible with the trunk viewing function. 6-seat version optimization: the third row legroom is increased by 20mm, the central channel is widened to 190mm; the second row backrest angle is increased to 155° (145° for the 2025 model), and a new horizontal slide rail adjustment is added. The 2025 model only provides a 6-seat layout, without a bed mode and horizontal slide rail design.

Intelligent driving and cockpit

The 2026 model is equipped with a 128-line laser radar as standard, equipped with Qualcomm 8650 intelligent driving chip (computing power 100TOPS), supporting high-speed/city pilot NAP and end-to-end assisted driving. Car upgrade: Snapdragon 8295 chip + 15.6-inch rear ceiling screen (standard for all models), new 3D car model and voice enhancement functions. 2025 model: LiDAR is only equipped in mid-to-high configuration, the intelligent driving chip is NVIDIA Orin-X, and there is no rear entertainment screen.

Battery life and charging

Pure electric version: The battery life of the 2026 model is increased to 630km (CLTC, battery 81.9kWh), and the 2025 model is 520-580km (battery 67.7kWh/74.9kWh).

Extended range version: The pure electric range of the 2026 model is 280km (battery 38.7kWh), and the 2025 model is 200km (battery 28.4kWh).

Fast charging upgrade: The 2026 model supports 800V high-voltage platform, and charging from 30% to 80% takes only 19 minutes.

As the first generation model, the LEAPMOTOR C16 2026 model only offers a 6-seat layout, with a standard range of 200km (extended range)/520-580km (pure electric), imitation leather seats and basic suspension system, intelligently equipped with NVIDIA Orin-X chip, and no luxury configurations such as rear screen and refrigerator. Both models continue the family-style through-light group design, with a body size of 4915mm in length and 2825mm in wheelbase, targeting the family multi-purpose SUV market.
