The 2026 LEAPMOTOR Lafa5 is a pure electric compact car built on the LEAP 3.5 B platform, targeting the young and sporty market with a focus on stylish design and intelligent features. The new car continues the brand's design language, featuring a wide-body, low-slung profile, frameless doors, hidden door handles, and 19-inch sporty wheels. It boasts a drag coefficient as low as 0.27 and offers six body colors. The car measures 4430/1880/1520mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2735mm, offering flexible space layout and a trunk capacity expandable to 1400 liters.

Powertrain and Range

The 2026 Lafa5 offers two powertrain versions: a high-power version with a maximum motor output of 160kW and a low-power version with 132kW, achieving a 0-100km/h acceleration time as fast as 6.4 seconds. In terms of range, it features a 56.2kWh battery pack with a larger capacity, offering pure electric ranges of 515km and 605km under CLTC conditions, respectively. It supports fast charging from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes.

Intelligent Technology

All models come standard with a Qualcomm 8295 chip, supporting continuous dialogue and differentiated voice commands for both driver and passenger. Higher-spec models are equipped with LiDAR and dual intelligent driving chips (254 TOPS computing power), supporting 26 end-to-end assisted driving functions, including NAP navigation assistance in urban areas. The cockpit features an 8.8-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch 2.5K central control screen. The passenger side is equipped with a magic expansion island, which can be used to expand functionality with peripheral products.
