On June 27, 2025, Dongfeng Forthing announced that the 555 Star Creation Edition of its Xinghai S7 pure electric series was officially launched, with an official guide price of RMB 152,900. As the mid-range version of the 555km range model, the new car has been targeted in terms of intelligent driving assistance and comfort configuration, becoming a strong competitor in the 150,000-class pure electric mid-to-large sedan market.
Forthing Xinghai S7 new car continues the iconic fastback coupe shape of the Xinghai S7 family, with a drag coefficient as low as 0.191Cd. The body size remains 4935×1915×1495mm, the wheelbase is 2915mm, and it adopts a rare frameless door + hatchback tailgate design in the same class, and the trunk volume can reach 541-1303L. The exterior is equipped with hidden door handles and 18-inch wheels (235/45 R18), and 6 body colors are available, including Misty Blue.
The interior adopts the "Sky Dusk Black" color scheme, with a standard 8.8-inch LCD instrument + 15.6-inch floating central control screen, equipped with Xinghai OS intelligent interaction system, supporting voice recognition, in-vehicle 4G and OTA upgrades.
