On July 10, 2025, Xpeng Automobile announced that the AI Dimensity System July OTA was fully pushed. This upgrade covers 9 core functional innovations:
New human-machine co-driving mode: When in NGP state and the speed is below 60km/h, you can enter the "co-driving mode" by controlling the steering wheel or stepping on the accelerator pedal. After stopping the car, the NGP state will be restored.
New custom parking: In an environment without lined parking spaces, you can manually generate a parking space frame, and AI automatically calibrates to match the best position, and finally completes assisted parking.
New AEB performance improvement: optimize scene recognition and response performance, improve warning and trigger accuracy, increase braking speed and more scene recognition intervention.
New AI Xiao P deep thinking: Xiao P has acquired stronger deep thinking skills, and his logical reasoning ability has been greatly enhanced, turning into your smart advisor.
New UWB smart car key: the first batch supports most Apple devices, with more accurate approach unlocking and distance locking, and supports touch unlocking.
New pet mode: pets can stay in the car more safely. After turning it on, the windows will be closed and locked, and the air conditioner will keep AUTO + external circulation.
New remote air conditioning operation timing: air conditioning switch, rapid heating and cooling, and smart deodorization can all set a single operation time, supporting up to 60 minutes of operation.
New industry-first smart recommendation for charging at the station: when entering the "smart station" range, the best charging pile is intelligently recommended, and the ground lock is automatically lowered, making entry more comfortable.
New smart opening of the charging port cover: at the Xpeng smart supercharging station, press the charging gun switch, and the vehicle charging port cover will automatically open without the need for a large screen or App operation.
In February 2025, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Management of Access, Recall and Online Software Upgrades of Intelligent Connected Vehicle Products" (MIIT Unicom Equipment [2025] No. 45), with key requirements:
OTA upgrade filing management: Enterprises must report upgrade content, test plans and rollback mechanisms in advance, and unapproved function push is prohibited;
Data recording standards: GB 44497-2024 "Autonomous Driving Data Recording System" standard is enforced, and the accident data storage time is not less than 7 days;
Security principal responsibility: It is clear that car companies need to establish a network security protection system that matches the level of intelligent driving, and key systems such as AEB need to be verified by a third party;
