On August 4, 2025, Chang'an Mazda announced that its all-new new energy mid-size SUV, the EZ-60, officially rolled off the assembly line at its Nanjing plant, marking the start of the countdown to the launch of this global strategic model. As of that date, small orders for the new vehicle had exceeded 38,000, demonstrating market interest far exceeding expectations.
Exterior Design: Continuing the Mazda ARATA concept SUV style, both the pure electric and extended-range versions feature a closed front fascia, split headlights, and an illuminated logo. The body lines retain the essence of the "KODO" design. Concealed door handles, frameless doors, and 21-inch wheels enhance the sense of technology, while the through-type taillights and spoiler create visual tension.
Dimensions: 4850×1935×1620mm with a 2902mm wheelbase. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the 5-seat configuration offers a trunk volume of 350-2036L. The pure electric version offers an additional 126L front trunk.
Pure Electric Version:
The single electric motor has a maximum power of 190kW and is paired with a 77.947kWh lithium iron phosphate battery (supplied by China New Aviation Industry Corporation and CATL).
The CLTC range is available in two versions: 585km and 600km, and supports fast charging.
Extended Range Version:
1.5L range extender (maximum power 72kW) + 190kW drive motor.
The 31.73kWh battery pack achieves a pure electric range of 160km (operating conditions not specified), with a fuel consumption of 5.6L/100km.
Interactive System: 26.45-inch 5K integrated screen equipped with a 4nm automotive-grade chip, integrating multi-modal interaction features such as Doubao AI and Wall-Facing Intelligence.
Comfort Features: 23-speaker Dolby Atmos audio system, 16-way power adjustment for the front seats (with heating, ventilation, and massage), and optional streaming media exterior mirrors.
Passive Safety: 7-horizontal and 5-vertical armored cage body, 86.5% ultra-high-strength steel, and 9 airbags across the entire range.
Active Safety: Level 2 driver assistance features 5 cameras, 5 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, supporting accurate object detection for 6 types of objects.
Battery Safety: Battery cells meet Level 8 protection standards and will not catch fire or explode within 2 hours of thermal runaway.
The Mazda EZ-60, the second global model from the Chang'an Mazda New Energy Export Center, will officially launch at the end of September 2025. Currently, you can participate in the "Turning a Little into Gold" promotion by paying a RMB 10 deposit through official channels.
