The Chang'an Deepal L06, the first model launched by China Chang'an Automobile Group, China's third state-owned automobile enterprise, officially completed its registration with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in August 2025. Positioned as a mid-size sedan, the new model offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrains. LiDAR and a 3nm automotive-grade cockpit chip are standard across the range, and the vehicle is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
Extended-Range Edition: Equipped with a 1.5L range extender (maximum power 72kW) and a 175kW drive motor, paired with a 28.39kWh lithium iron phosphate battery (supplied by Times Chang'an/China New Aviation), boasting a pure electric range of 180 kilometers.
Pure Electric Edition: Utilizing a 200kW motor from the same battery supplier as the extended-range version, two capacity options are available, with an estimated range exceeding 200 kilometers (CLTC).
Lightweight Design: The extended-range version weighs just 1795kg, while the all-electric version weighs 1830kg. A highly efficient electric drive system optimizes energy consumption.
Standard features across the board: Roof-mounted LiDAR (possibly using Huawei's ADS solution), a powered rear spoiler, semi-hidden door handles, and advanced driver assistance features.
World Premiere: A 3nm automotive-grade cockpit chip with significantly improved computing power.
Dimensions: Length, width, and height: 4830×1905×1480mm, wheelbase: 2900mm, track width: 1630mm front/1650mm rear, achieving a superior aspect ratio compared to other models in its class.
Exterior Features: Fastback styling with a black floating roof, split headlights and through-type taillights. The extended-range version features a dark tailgate badge, while the all-electric version has a silver badge.
Optional features: 19-inch wheels (235/45 R19), yellow-green caliper covers, electric spoiler, etc.
