On November 18th, Deepal officially launched its new mid-size pure electric sedan, the L06, attracting widespread attention with its positioning as a "magnetic levitation vehicle for highways, a dark horse in intelligent driving." The new car offers four configurations with a limited-time official price range of RMB 132,900 to RMB 154,900, along with purchase benefits worth up to RMB 78,760. By bringing many high-end technologies to a mainstream price point, the car demonstrates strong market competitiveness.
The Deepal L06 features a closed front fascia and split headlights, with smooth lines that create a simple and elegant look. The side profile features semi-hidden door handles, contributing to a very sleek and streamlined silhouette.
As a mid-size car, its dimensions are 4830×1905×1480 mm (length×width×height), with a wheelbase of 2900 mm, laying the foundation for excellent interior space. In particular, its rear legroom is ample, and its storage capacity is class-leading, with a 464-liter trunk and a 100-liter front trunk, fully meeting the daily travel needs of families.
Stepping inside, the Deepal L06 adopts a minimalist design style without an instrument panel, using a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display system as the core information interaction carrier, projecting clear and rich information. The center console features a 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution "sunflower" screen that supports 180° rotation for convenient operation by both driver and passenger.
Regarding the seats, the new car uses imitation leather upholstery. In the high-end Ultra+ version, the passenger seat offers a zero-gravity mode and massage function, further enhancing ride comfort. The column shifter design effectively frees up space on the center console.
Intelligent driving is a major highlight of the Deepal L06. Its Deepal AD Max driver assistance system reaches Level 2, with all models equipped with one LiDAR and 27 sensors, supported by two Horizon J6M chips providing 256 TOPS of computing power.
This system adopts an end-to-end algorithm architecture and is trained based on over 30,000 real-world road scene data points in China, enabling it to more accurately handle complex localized scenarios such as lane-cutting and sudden pedestrian intrusion. The system's response is 20% faster than that of a human driver. Functionally, it covers highway navigation, city navigation, all-scenario parking, and the industry's first mass-produced urban autonomous roaming function, sufficient to handle over 90% of daily driving scenarios.
The Deepal L06 is built on a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform and features a 200 kW electric motor with a peak torque of 296 Nm. Its official 0-100 km/h acceleration time is a mere 5.9 seconds, and its performance remains stable even with low battery levels.
Regarding the battery, the new car utilizes lithium iron phosphate cells from CATL and its "Golden Bell Battery" technology. It offers two range options: 560 km and 670 km, with the latter particularly suitable for users with medium- to long-distance travel needs. Standard features across the range include a heat pump air conditioning system and wide-temperature-range heating technology, significantly improving the vehicle's range and charging efficiency in winter.
Recharging efficiency is another major advantage. Utilizing the world's first I-TECH terminal pulse technology, the vehicle can achieve a fast charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, adding approximately 335 km of range.
One of the most revolutionary features of the Deepal L06 is its magnetorheological suspension, the same type used in the Ferrari 296GTB, a rarity in this price range. This suspension adjusts at a frequency of 1000 times per second, responding 10-20 times faster than traditional CDC suspensions.
In actual driving, this suspension system intelligently adjusts its stiffness according to road conditions. It provides soft damping during city commutes, reducing motion sickness; and quickly stiffens to provide strong support during high-speed cornering or over bumps. Its moose test result reaches 85.6 km/h, offering handling comparable to vehicles in the 300,000 RMB price range.
