The vehicle previously competed in the 2025 Dakar Rally as the only production model to compete before its release, successfully completing the race and demonstrating its prowess as the "King of China's Electric Hybrid Cross-Country Rally." Jetour Automobile stated that the Zongheng G700 will fill a strategic gap in China's high-end off-road market and help the brand advance toward its goal of becoming the "world's leading electric hybrid off-road brand."
The Jetour Zongheng G700 continues the classic Jetour box-like design style, with its extensive use of square lines giving it a rugged and powerful appearance. The front fascia features a large black grille, rectangular LED daytime running lights, and a center grille with a light-up logo, making it instantly recognizable.
Measuring 5198×2050×1956mm with a wheelbase of 2870mm, the vehicle's dimensions rival those of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. A 30° approach angle and a 25° departure angle ensure excellent off-road maneuverability. The rear adopts the narrow-top, wide-bottom design common to tough SUVs. The combination of an external spare tire and vertically mounted taillights further emphasizes its off-road capabilities.
The Jetour Zongheng G700's interior combines practicality and technology, showcasing a luxurious feel befitting its high-end positioning. The three-spoke flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel is comfortable to hold, and the large, floating central control screen offers clear display and smooth operation.
The interior offers two configurations: five- and six-seat. The six-seat version features a power leg rest on the second-row right seat that extends up to 500mm. Combined with a tray table and Lexicon audio system, it transforms the interior into a "mobile conference room." The Jetour Zongheng G700 is equipped with Chery's proprietary CDM-O parallel hybrid architecture. Its 2.0T gasoline engine (211 horsepower) is paired with dual front and rear electric motors, generating a combined power of 560kW (761 horsepower). Mated to a DHT hybrid transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
The vehicle is equipped with a 34.13kWh battery, boasting a pure electric range of 116 kilometers. With a 100L fuel tank, it boasts a combined range of up to 1,400 kilometers. In hybrid mode, fuel consumption is a mere 1.39L/100km. According to information filed with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is 7.95L/100km.
For off-road capabilities, the G700 features a non-load-bearing body, full-time four-wheel drive, three locking differentials, low-range four-wheel drive, air suspension, and a CDC continuously adjustable damping system. It has a wading depth of 900mm and a towing capacity of 2.5 tons.
High-end models will be equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0 system, featuring a roof-mounted LiDAR and multi-camera solution that supports high-speed navigation and automatic parking. Other intelligent features include:
All-terrain mode selection (sand, mud, snow, etc.);
Tank turning function (reducing the turning radius on the spot);
Transparent chassis technology (visualizing wheel position when off-roading).
