On October 9th, GWM's WEY New Energy officially announced the launch of the Gaoshan 7 on October 15th. Pre-sales for this new energy MPV began on September 10th. Two models, Standard and Premium, are available, with pre-sale prices of 289,800 yuan and 349,800 yuan, respectively.
A key component of GWM WEY's new energy strategy, the Gaoshan 7 features the Hi4 Performance Edition intelligent all-wheel drive hybrid system, which utilizes a "parallel-parallel + 4-speed + dual-motor" architecture, enabling seamless switching between extended-range, parallel, and direct-drive modes. The system boasts a total power of 337 kW (approximately 458 horsepower), peak torque of 644 Nm, and a 0-60 sprint of just 5.7 seconds. The 44.28kWh battery pack supports a pure electric range of 172km (CLTC) and a combined range of 945km (WLTC), with fuel consumption under 6.3L/100km. The 3.3kW external discharge function allows high-power appliances like induction cookers to operate continuously for 8 hours, perfect for camping.
