Pre-sales for the N6, the brand's first plug-in hybrid sedan, will officially begin on November 13th. This mid-size sedan, built on the Tianyan architecture, will enter the new energy vehicle market with an estimated price range of 120,000-150,000 yuan, and is planned to officially launch in the fourth quarter of 2025.

1. Superior Body Dimensions, Laying the Foundation for Spaciousness

The Dongfeng Nissan N6 boasts body dimensions of 4831mm × 1885mm × 1491mm, with a wheelbase of 2815mm. Its elongated body proportions not only give it a sleek and elegant stance but also establish a foundation for superior space. Compared to the N7 model from the same brand, the N6 is slightly smaller in overall size, creating a differentiated positioning.

2. Minimalist Design Language, Continuing the Family Style

In terms of appearance, the N6 basically continues the design style of the N7. The front adopts a closed design, equipped with a slim, continuous daytime running light, and the boomerang-shaped main headlights echo the star-ring light strip. The sides feature hidden door handles, and the rear is equipped with a continuous taillight assembly with an illuminated "NISSAN" logo in the center, providing excellent nighttime visibility. The vehicle supports optional 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, with tire specifications of 225/55 R17 and 225/50 R18 respectively.

3. Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain, Balancing Range and Economy

The powertrain is the biggest highlight of the N6, featuring a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine and a 155kW electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 75kW, and the battery pack is a 21.1kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by Ruipu Lanjun Energy Co., Ltd.

According to the application information, the N6's CLTC pure electric range is expected to exceed 150 kilometers, meeting the "one-charge-per-week" requirement for daily urban commuting and realizing the ideal usage scenario of "using a plug-in hybrid as an electric vehicle." Specifically, two versions with pure electric ranges of 130 kilometers and 125 kilometers are declared.

4. Technical Configuration Outlook: Comfort Worthy of Expectation

Although the interior design has not yet been officially announced, industry insiders generally speculate that the N6 will inherit the highly praised A-type zero-pressure cloud carpet seats and "anti-motion sickness" technology from the N7. The vehicle's infotainment system and intelligent driving assistance are also expected to remain consistent with the N7, continuing to create a comfortable and safe travel experience for users.

5. Market Positioning

As the second strategic model in Dongfeng Nissan's new energy strategy, the addition of the N6 signifies that Dongfeng Nissan has formed a product layout that advances both pure electric and plug-in hybrid lines. Considering the brand's internal positioning and current new energy pricing trends, the N6's purchase threshold is expected to be lower than the N7, potentially making it a significant competitor in the joint venture brand plug-in hybrid market.
