The all-new 2026 Chang'an Qiyuan Q05 will be officially launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show opening on November 21st. Blind pre-orders opened on October 15th, with a 199 RMB deposit paid before the price announcement eligible for a 10-fold discount of 2000 RMB on the purchase price. The new car is built on the TianShu architecture pure electric platform, adopts a new design language, and is equipped with lidar and driver assistance blue lights. The CLTC pure electric range offers options of 405km and 506km. Its dimensions are 4435/1855/1600 (1595) mm, with a wheelbase of 2735mm, positioning it as a small SUV.

The new car's interior features a "wraparound horizon" layout, offering two color options: Onyx Black and Jade White, creating a refreshing and soothing atmosphere. It boasts a 10.17-inch floating LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control screen; some information suggests the instrument cluster size may be 12.3 inches. Ride comfort is a major highlight. The new car features a five-seat layout and is equipped with "SPA-level comfort seats," rare in its class. The front seats offer 8-point massage, ventilation, and heating functions, effectively reducing driver fatigue. The front passenger seat is equipped with a leg rest and supports a 165° reclining angle, further enhancing comfort. In terms of storage space, the standard trunk volume is 540 liters, which can be expanded to 1380 liters with the rear seats folded down. There are a total of 29 storage spaces throughout the vehicle.
Intelligent Cockpit: The all-new Qiyuan Q05 features the TianShu Intelligent Cockpit, debuting the 4nm automotive-grade MT8676 chip and equipped with 24GB of ultra-large memory. It supports large-scale edge models and 5G networks, significantly improving operational smoothness. Its voice assistant has integrated with iFlytek's Xinghuo large-scale model, enabling more natural voice interaction.
Intelligent Driving: The new car is equipped with the TianShu Intelligent Driving Assistance System, featuring one lidar and integrating 11 high-definition cameras, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, forming a 27-sensor matrix. This system gives the vehicle accurate perception capabilities in all weather and all scenarios, enabling navigation assist (NOA) on highways and urban elevated roads, supporting complex operations such as automatic lane changing, overtaking, and entering/exiting ramps.
Regarding the powertrain, the application information shows that the new car will be equipped with a drive motor with a maximum power of 120 kW (approximately 158 hp), with some reports mentioning a peak torque of up to 330 N·m. The entire series uses lithium iron phosphate battery packs supplied by Chang'an (CATL), offering two capacity options: 40.29kWh and 51.91kWh. The corresponding CLTC pure electric range is 405km and 506km respectively, sufficient for daily commutes and short trips.
In terms of charging efficiency, the new car supports 3C fast charging technology, which can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes, significantly reducing charging time.
Regarding safety, the Chang'an Qiyuan Q05 adopts the Golden Bell Battery Safety System 2.0. The official claim is that it achieves all-dimensional safety protection from the battery cell to the cloud, ensuring the battery is "waterproof, fireproof, and explosion-proof." The battery is also equipped with liquid cooling temperature control and preheating technology to ensure stable performance in a wide temperature range.
