On November 13th, Dongfeng NISSAN launched pre-sales for its new plug-in hybrid mid-size sedan, the NISSAN N6, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 109,900 to RMB 121,900, and an initial price as low as RMB 106,900. The new car offers three trim levels. The base model will be available for delivery on December 8th, while the top-of-the-line model (180max+) is planned for delivery in the spring of 2026. As the second model in Dongfeng NISSAN's new energy strategy, the N6 is built on the Tianyan architecture and positioned as a plug-in hybrid mid-size sedan, using a 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain. Dongfeng NISSAN stated that the NISSAN N6 will officially launch and begin deliveries on December 8th.
Exterior: The closed front fascia features a continuous LED light strip and an illuminated logo, while L-shaped split headlights enhance brand recognition. The sloping roofline and hidden door handles contribute to a drag coefficient as low as 0.248Cd. It is available in six colors, including Rock Gray and Obsidian Black.
Dimensions: Length/Width/Height: 4831/1885/1494mm, wheelbase: 2815mm. It offers 17/18-inch wheels (tire specifications: 225/55 R17, 225/50 R18).
Interior: The wraparound layout offers a beige/black two-tone theme, eliminating physical buttons. It features a two-spoke steering wheel, a floating center console screen, and a column shifter. The center console has a double-layer design, integrating wireless phone charging, cup holders, and expansion ports.
Seats: Equipped with "AI Zero-Pressure Cloud Carpet Seats," featuring 49 built-in sensors, supporting 12-point massage, 14-way power adjustment, ventilation/heating, and active side support for the front seats.
Features: Panoramic camera, full-speed adaptive cruise control, active braking, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and other standard features across the entire range.
Powertrain: 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (75kW) + front-mounted single motor (155kW), paired with a 21.1kWh lithium iron phosphate battery (supplied by Ruipu Lanjun).
Range: CLTC pure electric range of 180km, fuel consumption of 2.79L/100km when the battery is depleted, meeting the "one charge per week" commuting needs.
The N6 enters the plug-in hybrid market with a price point around 120,000 RMB. Leveraging its superior space, 180km pure electric range, and NISSAN's traditional comfort advantages, it attempts to break into the hybrid market dominated by domestic brands. Dongfeng NISSAN plans to launch six new energy vehicles by 2027, covering plug-in hybrid, range-extended, and pure electric technologies.
