Dongfeng NISSAN officially announced that the new SUV model, the 2026 N6, will officially launch on December 1st. This new vehicle, built on the CMF-CD platform, has already passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) application process. Positioned as a "flagship family SUV," it will feature numerous advanced features and innovative technologies.
In terms of dimensions, the N6 measures 4,712 mm in length, 1,858 mm in width, and 1,725 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,706 mm. The body features a sleek fastback design, complemented by a floating roof and a continuous taillight assembly, creating a visually appealing style that combines power and sportiness. The front features an active grille and split LED headlights; higher-spec models will also include matrix LED headlights and adaptive high beam functionality.
The interior features a T-shaped symmetrical layout with dual 12.3-inch high-definition screens. It runs on the Nissan Connect 2.0 intelligent connectivity system, supporting four-zone voice recognition, in-car karaoke, and OTA updates. The seats are multi-layer ergonomically designed, with the driver's seat offering 8-way power adjustment and 4-way lumbar support. Some models also include heating, ventilation, and massage functions. All models come standard with dual-zone automatic climate control, rear air vents, and a PM2.5 filter. Higher-spec models also feature a BOSE sound system and multi-color ambient lighting.
The N6 will be equipped with an e-POWER hybrid system consisting of a 1.5T turbocharged engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power output of 120kW, while the electric motor has a maximum power output of 150kW and a peak torque of 330N·m. This system utilizes NISSAN's exclusive STARC technology and waste heat recovery system, significantly improving fuel economy while ensuring power output, achieving a WLTC combined fuel consumption of only 5.6L/100km.
In terms of safety features, the N6 is equipped with the ProPILOT Assist system, supporting full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and automatic emergency braking. The body utilizes a Zone Body structure with 31% 1.5GPa ultra-high-strength steel, and features 8 airbags and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Some higher-spec models also add a head-up display (HUD) and an automatic parking assist system.
As a key product for Dongfeng NISSAN in the compact SUV market, the N6 will enter the market with a "high-spec entry-level" product strategy. The expected price range for the main models is 106,900-121,900 RMB, competing with joint-venture SUVs such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. Its rich standard configuration and the inclusion of the e-POWER hybrid system are expected to create a differentiated competitive advantage in the market segment.
