SAIC AUDI E5 Sportback to Be Pre-Ordered on August 18, Offering a Range of Over 700km

August 6, 2025 – SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (SAIC) and AUDI today announced that pre-orders for the E5 Sportback, the brand's first strategic model, will officially begin on August 18. Built on the Sino-German Intelligent Digital Platform (ADP), this mid-size pure electric coupe challenges competitors like the Tesla Model 3 and NIO ET5T with its 800V high-voltage architecture, 0-60 km/h acceleration in 3.4 seconds, and a range exceeding 700km.
