The 2026 BYD Song Ultra DM-i officially launched on May 28, 2026. As the first B-segment plug-in hybrid SUV within the "Dynasty Network" lineup to feature the "DiDiXia" super-intelligent agent, the model is available in five variants, covering two CLTC pure-electric range options: 205 km and 310 km. The entire series is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, utilizing a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 1.5L engine and a 175 kW electric motor. This configuration delivers a maximum combined range of up to 1,845 km and a fuel consumption rate as low as 3.3 L/100 km when operating in low-battery mode. The following sections outline the key differences between the various versions, categorized by their respective range capabilities:

1. 205 km Range Variants (Equipped with a 26.6 kWh Blade Battery)

1.1 205 km Leading Edition

As the entry-level variant, this model comes equipped with essential safety and comfort features, including seven airbags, the DiLink-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System, the TBC High-Speed Tire Blowout Stabilization System, a 15.6-inch central control screen, cruise control, and other core functionalities. This variant does not support the optional "Eye of the Gods B" Advanced Driving Assistance System (Laser Edition) upgrade; it is ideally suited for users who prioritize practicality and have a limited budget.

1.2 205 km Superior Edition

Compared to the Leading Edition, this variant features numerous upgrades to its comfort and intelligent features. New additions include the "Eye of the Gods C" Intelligent Driving Assistance System, road preview functionality, an anti-motion sickness feature, 127-color ambient lighting, and the "Intelligent Driving Blue Light" indicator. To enhance cabin quietness, it is equipped with double-layer laminated glass (for the windshield and front windows) and black privacy glass (for the rear windows and rear doors). Additionally, it offers the option to upgrade to the "Eye of the Gods B" Advanced Driving Assistance System (Laser Edition) for an additional 12,000 RMB (this package includes LiDAR hardware and a one-year subscription to the Urban Navigation Assistance service).

2. 310 km Range Variants (Equipped with a 38.0 kWh Blade Battery; Pure-Electric Range Increased to 310 km)

The configuration of this variant is fundamentally identical to that of the 205 km Leading Edition. The primary difference lies in the increased battery capacity and extended driving range, which caters to the needs of users requiring longer-distance pure-electric commuting capabilities. Like its 205 km counterpart, this variant comes equipped with cruise control but does not support the optional advanced driving assistance upgrades.

2.2 310KM "Chaoyue" (Superior) Trim

Building upon the 310KM "Lingxian" (Leading) trim, this version features upgraded specifications comparable to the 205KM "Chaoyue" trim—including the "Eye of the Gods-C" intelligent driving system, 127-color ambient lighting, and double-layer laminated glass. Additionally, it supports 82kW DC fast charging, significantly boosting charging efficiency. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds and offers the "Eye of the Gods-B" laser-assisted driving system as an optional upgrade.

2.3 310KM "Zhuoyue" (Excellence) Trim

As the flagship version of the entire lineup, this trim further elevates luxury and intelligent features beyond the "Chaoyue" trim. It introduces 43 class-leading features, including front-seat ventilation/heating/10-point independent massage, a "Queen's Seat" for the front passenger (featuring a lie-flat mode), a smart cooling/warming box (-6°C to 15°C; heating: 35°C to 50°C), a 16-speaker "Voice of the Sky" audio system, an in-cabin fragrance system, 50W wireless phone charging, a 26-inch Head-Up Display (HUD), a heated steering wheel, and a panoramic glass roof.
