Changan CS55 PHEV 2025 is Changan Automobile's compact plug-in hybrid SUV, based on the new Blue Whale 3.0 hybrid platform, offering extended-range/plug-in hybrid dual-mode drive, with standard 125km CLTC pure electric range and All models come standard with 125km CLTC pure electric range and over 1,200km comprehensive range, targeting young family users who emphasize on economy and technology.

Intelligent New Blue Whale 125KM Battleship Edition

Power Architecture: Equipped with 1.5L high-efficiency hybrid engine + P13 dual-motor system, supporting intelligent switching between pure electric/hybrid/range-extended three modes, with WLTC fuel consumption as low as 1.31L/100km, and zero hundred acceleration in 7.3 seconds, which takes into account energy-saving and driving fun.

Intelligent assistance: standard with L2-level driver assistance system (including lane centering and active braking), APA 6.0 one-key parking and 540° panoramic image (including transparent chassis), supporting voice control tailgate/light show outside the car.

Range and Charging: The whole system is matched with 18.4kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, CLTC pure electric range of 125km, supporting 19 minutes fast charging (30%-80% power), adapting to the high-frequency short-distance pure electric travel needs.

Comfort features: Standardly equipped with Forest Oxygen Bar air purification system, heated/ventilated front seats and 64-color ambient lighting, with deep-sea level NVH mute technology to enhance cabin quality.

2. Design and Function Highlights

Exterior Design

Continuing the design language of the fuel version “No Boundary”, the front face adopts a parametric dot-matrix grille + split LED light clusters, and the rear part is equipped with smoked through tail lamps + hidden exhaust, with a low wind resistance coefficient of 0.27Cd, and available in 5 color schemes such as Dazzle Shadow Gray, Moonlight White, and so on.

Body dimensions 4539×1865×1680mm, wheelbase 2656mm, standard 17-inch starburst wheels and electric folding mirrors, ground clearance 171mm, taking into account the city commuting and light unpaved road passability.

Intelligent Technology

The whole series is equipped with FlyAuto Smart Cockpit (10.25-inch LCD instrument + 12.3-inch floating center control screen), which supports HUAWEI HiCar, in-car KTV and AI voice assistant, and the response speed of voice interaction is increased by 50%.

The new “Smart Energy Management” system can intelligently deploy power modes based on navigational road conditions, optimize energy efficiency, and reduce the comprehensive usage cost of the whole scenario to as low as RMB 0.3/km.

Space and Safety

The rear seats support 4/6 ratio put down, and the trunk volume can be expanded to 1,415L; the pure flat floor design + 870mm rear legroom meets the loading demand of family traveling.

It adopts the ark cage body structure (65% of high-strength steel), is equipped with 6 airbags + pre-tensioned force-limiting seat belts, and the battery pack is equipped with micro-core pulse heating technology, and has passed the C-NCAP five-star safety certification.
