The 2024 FORTHING LingZhi M5EV is positioned as a pure electric multi-functional MPV. It is produced by DongFeng and focuses on commercial and family multi-scenario travel needs. It continues the design concept of LingZhi family that emphasizes both practicality and economy. The front face of the new car adopts a combination of lightning grille and LED daytime running lights, with a three-dimensional waistline design, taking into account both business temperament and new energy technology. The body size is 513517201970mm, the wheelbase is 3000mm, and the double-side sliding doors and oversized tailgate design improve the convenience of loading and unloading.

The 2024 model is divided into two series with five core configurations:

410km regular version: includes basic and luxury models, both with 9-seat layout, CLTC range of 410 kilometers, support 0.5-hour fast charging, the basic model focuses on core functions, and the luxury model adds leather seats, intelligent network connection system and reversing image and other configurations;
460km passenger version: developed for professional transportation scenarios, providing standard 7-seat/9-seat and premium 7-seat, equipped with high-performance three-in-one motor, peak power of 150kW, 100 kilometers acceleration of 10.09 seconds, CLTC range increased to 460 kilometers, optimized energy consumption to 15.6kWh/100km, and enhanced continuous operation capabilities;
Premium version: based on the passenger version, electric seat adjustment, panoramic image and lane departure warning system are added to improve driving comfort and safety.
In terms of the core technology of the FORTHING LingZhi M5EV 2024 model, the car is equipped with an IP68-level protective battery pack, an efficient energy recovery system, and supports V2L external discharge function. The cockpit adopts a flexible space layout, the second row of seats supports 180° rotation, the third row can be completely flat, and the maximum cargo space is 4.4m³, which meets the needs of freight and multi-person travel. The chassis adopts a combination of front double wishbone independent suspension and rear leaf spring non-independent suspension, taking into account both load capacity and adaptability to complex road conditions.
