Wuling E5 2024 is a compact pure electric family sedan produced by Shanghai General Motors Wuling. It focuses on urban commuting and family travel scenarios, with "long battery life, high cost performance, and practical space" as its core competitiveness. The new car adopts a simple streamlined body design, with a length, width and height of 4835×1860×1515mm, and a wheelbase of standard compact car specifications. It provides two exterior colors of pearl white and laser gray and black interior. The floating roof and closed front grille enhance the new energy attributes.
Efficient pure electric power
The whole series is equipped with a front single motor with a maximum power of 100kW (about 136 horsepower), matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and provides 410km and 510km endurance versions under CLTC conditions, supporting 0.5-hour DC fast charging (30%-80% power) and 9-hour AC slow charging.
Optimized space practicality
It adopts a four-door four-seat layout, the rear seats support proportional folding, and the trunk volume can be flexibly expanded. The car integrates 17 storage spaces and a floating central control design to improve the convenience of daily storage.
Safety and basic intelligence
ABS+EBD, dual airbags for the driver and passenger, and tire pressure monitoring system are standard, and the body adopts a high-strength steel structure. Some models are equipped with monochrome LCD instruments and basic voice interaction functions, support mobile phone interconnection mapping, and high-end versions can be equipped with reversing images and body stability systems.
410km standard version : basic configuration model, equipped with halogen headlights, steel wheels and fabric seats, focusing on short-distance commuting needs in the city;
510km standard version : endurance enhanced version, endurance increased to 510km, upgraded electronic power steering and creeping functions, optimized driving smoothness and adaptability to complex road conditions.
The Wuling E5 2024 model achieves an electricity consumption cost of approximately 0.08 yuan per kilometer through its front-mounted front-wheel drive layout and low-energy motor design. Combined with its compact body size and flexible handling characteristics, it has become an efficient electrification choice for young families and urban commuters.
