The 2026 BMW iX1 redefines the benchmark for all-electric SUVs with its intelligent features and enhanced driving dynamics. As the first all-electric compact SUV in the BMW X family, the 2026 iX1 focuses on "intelligent network upgrades" and "enhanced driving dynamics," further solidifying its competitiveness in the luxury all-electric market through key upgrades such as standard 5G connectivity across the entire range, optimized M Sport package, and improved dual-motor all-wheel drive performance.

Design Language: A Balance of Sportiness and Refinement

The 2026 iX1 continues the classic family design, featuring an active kidney grille that optimizes both heat dissipation and aerodynamics. The angel-eye LED headlights integrate dynamic turn signals, providing excellent nighttime visibility. The M Sport Shadow Edition adds high-gloss black aluminum roof rails, exterior components, and headlight trim, enhancing its sporty feel. Hidden door handles reduce wind resistance, and 19-inch wheels (20-inch optional) paired with a continuous LED taillight design balance practicality for family use with the brand's sporty DNA.

Intelligent Cockpit: 5G Network Enables Full-Domain Connectivity

The interior features a dual-screen setup consisting of a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster and a 10.7-inch floating central control screen, incorporating the latest iDrive 9 system with a core upgraded 5G network module. Data transmission speeds are several times faster than 4G, supporting real-time navigation, online audio and video playback, and full-domain OTA upgrades. Voice control response is also faster. The M Sport Package adds exclusive sports seats, steering wheel trim, and interior stitching, enhancing the sporty atmosphere of the cabin.

Power and Range: Two Versions Covering Diverse Needs

Single Motor Version: Maximum power 150kW, peak torque 250N·m, 0-100km/h acceleration in 8.6 seconds, CLTC range 510km, meeting daily commuting needs.

Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive Version: Combined power 230kW, peak torque 494N·m, 0-100km/h acceleration in just 5.7 seconds, CLTC range 450km, the all-wheel drive system provides stronger grip on slippery roads or during rapid acceleration.

All models are equipped with a 66.45kWh ternary lithium battery, supporting DC fast charging. Charging from 10% to 80% takes only 32 minutes, balancing efficiency and convenience.

Driving Experience: Inheriting BMW's Sporty DNA

Based on a pure electric platform, the chassis features a front MacPherson strut and rear multi-link independent suspension, balancing comfort and handling. Steering is precise and responsive, with clear road feedback. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive version intelligently distributes power to the rear wheels in corners, inheriting BMW's classic handling genes.
