Hongqi Automobile held a launch event for two pure electric new energy models, EH7 and Tiangong 08, at the St. Regis, a landmark hotel in Amman, Jordan on May 18. The two heavyweight models of Hongqi and Tiangong series, high-end brands under China FAW Group, the pure electric sedan EH7 and the smart SUV Tiangong 08, held a joint launch conference in Amman, the capital of Jordan, marking the further deepening of the strategic layout of Chinese auto brands in the Middle East market. The EH7 and Tiangong 08 launched this time accurately cover the dual needs of business elites and family users, filling the gap in the medium and large SUV market segment under E-HS9, further broadening Hongqi's pure electric product line in Jordan, and extending the price range to a wider consumer level.

Model highlights and market positioning

Hongqi EH7: Positioned as a medium-to-large pure electric sedan, equipped with the latest generation of blade battery technology, its size is 4980×1915×1490mm, wheelbase is 3000mm, CLTC range exceeds 700 kilometers, equipped with L3 level automatic driving and intelligent cockpit system, mainly targeting high-end business and family users. The price in Jordan is equivalent to about RMB 280,000.

Tiangong 08: A medium-sized smart SUV, focusing on the young market, providing three single-motor rear-wheel drive and two dual-motor four-wheel drive models, a total of five models, using plug-in hybrid design, pure electric range of 150 kilometers, support fast charging technology, equipped with panoramic skylight and AR-HUD, starting price is about RMB 200,000.

Localization strategy and market response
