On May 27, 2025, Chang'an Automobile released the official makeup pictures of the UNI-Z fuel version and the PHEV plug-in hybrid version, confirming that the two models will be launched simultaneously on May 28. The new car adopts the "Zongheng Wanxiang 2.0" design language, with a starship-style front face and a parametric scale armor grille. The PHEV version specially adds an ice blue decorative strip logo.

According to dealers in mainland China, the pre-sale range of Chang'an UNI-Z fuel version is 120,000-150,000 yuan, and the PHEV version is 160,000-200,000 yuan, directly benchmarking BYD Song Pro DM-i and HAVAL Xiaolong MAX. Wang Qiang, director of UNI product line, said: "This is Chang'an's first model equipped with an AI hybrid management system, and its pure electric range is 40% higher than the previous generation."
