On June 11, 2025, Xiaomi Motors announced that the mass-produced version of SU7 Ultra set a lap time of 7 minutes 04.957 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany, surpassing the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (7:07.55) to become the new "fastest mass-produced electric vehicle". This is the first time that a Chinese brand has topped the performance list of electric vehicles on this track. The test car driven by driver Vincent Radermecker only removed the audio system to reduce weight by 12kg, which fully meets the internationally certified mass-produced vehicle standards.
Three motors with violent output: equipped with self-developed V8s/V6s motor group, with a total power of 1548 horsepower, 0-100km/h acceleration of 1.98 seconds (excluding starting time), and a top speed limit of 315km/h;
Track-level battery system: CATL Kirin II battery supports 1330kW peak discharge, and can still output 800kW at 20% power;
Chassis black technology: dual-chamber air suspension + rear-wheel steering, former F1 engineers participated in the tuning;
The mass-produced version is equipped with a racing package worth 180,000 yuan, including a full cage roll cage, carbon ceramic braking system and exclusive track mode, which can achieve intelligent distribution of front and rear axle torque from 30:70 to 50:50. This configuration is exactly the same as the domestic delivery version, and only the roll cage is temporarily installed for track safety.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun said: "This record will be continuously refreshed, and we will be stationed in the New North for a long time." It is worth noting that its prototype set a four-door car record of 6:46.874 as early as October 2024. This mass-produced version verifies the reliability of the technology.
