On July 9, Chery iCAR officially announced that the V23 compact electric SUV added two new exterior colors, purple and blue, with an optional price of 2,000 yuan. The new car continues the official guide price range of 109,800-149,800 yuan, and continues to cultivate the young consumer market with the differentiated design of "square box + retro elements".
The new car adopts a compact body of 4220×1915×1845mm and a long wheelbase of 2735mm. The four-wheel four-corner design achieves a 43° approach angle and a 41° departure angle. The minimum ground clearance of the four-wheel drive version is 210mm, which has both urban shuttle and light off-road capabilities. The newly added purple paint adopts a high-saturation blending process, combined with a clamshell hood and a round LED headlight group, to enhance the visual impact; the blue version presents a technological texture through a metallic paint surface, forming a contrasting effect with the side-opening tailgate and the external "small schoolbag" storage box, combining hard-core genes with trendy aesthetics.
The interior is equipped with a 15.4-inch 2.5K floating touch screen, built-in Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting dual-zone voice control and wireless CarPlay. The central control area retains the physical knob button, the armrest box integrates a 60W fast charging interface, and the back of the seat is preset with a 1/4 standard screw interface, which can be expanded to outdoor equipment such as GoPro brackets. In terms of intelligent driving, it adopts the Horizon J3+TDA4 dual-chip solution, equipped with a high-speed NOA pilot assistance function.
It provides two versions: single-motor rear-wheel drive (136 horsepower) and dual-motor four-wheel drive (211 horsepower), and the CLTC working condition endurance covers three gears of 301/401/501km. In fast charging mode, 30%-80% of the battery can be replenished in 30 minutes, and the four-wheel drive version can reach a maximum speed of 140km/h. According to the latest announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the battery pack of the new car adopts a modular design and will be compatible with CATL's "Chocolate Battery Replacement" technology in the future.
In addition to the new car colors, the official simultaneously launched the military fan version of the decal kit and the wild fishing version of the modification package, including exclusive skylights, discharge guns and other accessories. According to the plan, V23 will also derive pickup and convertible versions to further expand the personalized market. Starting today, users can reserve new color models through the iCAR APP, and the first batch of deliveries is expected to be completed in mid-August.
