Jetour Automotive officially announced that pre-sales for the Shanhai L7 PLUS will begin on August 18, 2025, at the 8th Jetour Fan Culture Festival, with an official launch planned before the Chengdu Auto Show (opening on August 29th). Positioned as a "200,000 RMB long-range luxury electric seven-seater SUV," the new model targets the mid-size SUV market, offering both 5- and 7-seat configurations. Equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid engine (based on the Kunlun Super Hybrid Platform), it boasts a CLTC pure electric range of 220 kilometers, meeting the needs of both families and businesses.
Measuring 4810×1930×1705mm and with a 2820mm wheelbase, the new model boasts significantly more space than its predecessor. Its "Magic Cube Electric Seven-Seat" system supports 32 seating configurations. The second row can slide 260mm forward and backward. The third row of seats in the seven-seater version can fold down 5/50, expanding the trunk volume to 1,350L.

In terms of appearance, the Shanhai L7 PLUS features a closed front grille exclusive to new energy vehicles, paired with CC-shaped through-beam headlights. Semi-hidden door handles on the side reduce the drag coefficient to 0.318Cd. A silver roof rack is available, and the taillights echo the front fascia, with a hidden exhaust layout at the bottom. The through-beam headlight strip and diffuser at the rear enhance the sporty look. Six exterior colors are available, including Olive Gray and Frost Blue.
As the flagship model of the Jetour "Shanhai" series, the L7 PLUS, with its hybrid system, flexible space, and L2.9-level intelligent driving, is poised to reshape the competitive landscape of plug-in hybrid SUVs in the 200,000 RMB price range. Its pre-sale performance is worth watching.
