September 19, 2025 – Xiaomi Auto officially rolled out the HyperOS 1.10.0 update for all SU7/YU7 models. The Xiaomi SU7 update, released today, optimizes the high-speed navigation assist function, upgrades Super AI Assistant, and introduces Xiaomi Super Tasks. The Xiaomi YU7 update features a "Camera Beta" version for capturing life's moments, and an immersive in-car karaoke system that integrates with the Xiaomi Sky Screen, rear seat control screen, and ambient lighting. The specific updates are as follows:
Driving Assistance
Optimized High-Speed Navigation Assist (Available on SU7 Standard Edition): This update fixes issues with the high-speed navigation assist function, ensuring smoother driving on highways and expressways; improves large vehicle detection and lane-keeping, allowing the system to recognize large vehicles earlier and adjust lane position proactively, reducing stress when driving near large vehicles; and adds a "Dynamic Speed" feature, which is enabled by default. This feature allows users to adjust the target speed for assisted driving in complex environments such as rain or at night. The assisted driving speed control strategy is also optimized to dynamically adjust the target speed based on road and traffic conditions. Optimized the lighting strategy when the driver assistance system is activated; adaptive high beams will be enabled by default when the driver assistance system is activated (available on SU7 standard models).
Parking Assistance
Added a parking offset assist function. Users can manually select the offset direction before or during a parking maneuver, based on the surrounding environment, effectively addressing difficulties with getting in and out of the vehicle.
Safety Assistance
Added a "Misacceleration Mitigation Assist (MAI)" function. When the vehicle is stationary or moving at low to medium speed, if the driver accidentally accelerates by pressing the accelerator pedal too hard, and there is a risk of collision with vehicles, pedestrians, or two-wheelers in the direction of travel, the system will limit acceleration and issue a warning to avoid or mitigate the risk of a collision.
Other
Optimized the text and voice prompts for driver assistance. "Driver Assistance" is the new term for the driver assistance system; "Valet Parking Assist" is now "Positioning Parking Assist"; and "Take Control" is now "Please take control of the vehicle" (available on SU7 standard models).
Added a new startup authorization page for driver assistance services.
Optimized the DMS (Driver Monitoring System) strategy; removed the "Do not show DMS reminder for this trip" pop-up.

Super XiaoAi
XiaoAi Assistant has been upgraded to "Super XiaoAi," with a refreshed visual design and more features.
New "Hands-Free XiaoAi" feature: No need to say "XiaoAi" to activate. Simply add "XiaoAi" before or after your command, or directly use frequently used vehicle control, music, or navigation commands—one phrase for both activation and execution.
Improved multimodal Q&A experience: Added "Ask about Buildings" feature, allowing you to query information about buildings around the vehicle. Supports queries about color, height, etc., and allows selecting an area on the image for further recognition.
System Interaction
Added more apps to the driving dashboard. Apps can be added by long-pressing the app icon or clicking "Add to Dashboard" in the top left corner of the app list. Voice control for adding, deleting, and rearranging app icons is also supported.
Added Xiaomi Super Island: Key information is displayed on the central screen, providing quick access to functions.
Added adjustable status bar height on the central screen. Added weather and video recording icons on the right.
Added automatic ambient lighting settings: Ambient lights can be set to only illuminate at night.
Optimized air conditioning and seat control panel: Automatically shuts off after 30 seconds of inactivity when not in Park (P) mode.

Mobile Vehicle Control

Optimized Xiaomi Car App air conditioning status display, adding a quick cooling/heating status indicator for clearer understanding of the AC operation.
New parking offset assist feature: When using parking assist, users can manually select left, center, or right parking based on the actual parking space, solving difficulties getting in and out of the car. The parking assist feature also remembers the last parking offset setting, avoiding repetitive adjustments.
Camera Beta version: Access five external cameras (telephoto, wide-angle, rear, left rear, right rear) for taking photos or videos, capturing memorable moments on the go. Voice control allows you to take photos with a simple command. The driver can also use the scroll wheel on the steering wheel to control the camera.
Xiaomi Horizon Screen interaction is more dynamic and supports voice editing: When you activate XiaoAi, the animated character will listen attentively; it will move around and interact with you depending on your location. You can also edit Horizon Screen cards with voice commands, e.g., "XiaoAi, swap the first and second cards on the Horizon Screen."
Xiaomi Horizon Screen cards are richer and more useful: The Horizon Screen can now display traffic light countdowns when not in navigation mode. This update also adds a dashboard card with map information, allowing you to view information safely without looking at the central screen.
Added automatic switch to car mode when Xiaomi Pad is placed in the rear seat holder: In car mode, only the car control app functions are available. System password verification is required to exit car mode, effectively protecting privacy. New Multi-Screen Interconnected Immersive Karaoke: When a music app is opened in full screen, or when karaoke mode is activated without a microphone, the system will synchronize the Xiaomi Sky Screen, rear-seat screen, and ambient lighting to create an immersive music listening and singing experience.
QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and Kugou Music Integrate More High-Quality Audio Sources: The audio app experience has been optimized, with QQ Music, NetEase Cloud Music, and Kugou Music now supporting more types of high-quality audio sources, enhancing immersive sound effects, and utilizing AI algorithms to reconstruct a panoramic listening experience.
New In-Car Face ID Support for Unlocking the Smart Home App: After connecting your phone to the car, you previously had to enter a password to unlock the smart home app. Now, you can unlock it using Face ID, eliminating the need for a password—more convenient and secure.
This update further enhances the "People-Car-Home" ecosystem of Xiaomi Auto, with features such as parking assist and the five-camera system having already passed the intelligent connected vehicle functional safety certification from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
