On November 17th, Geely announced that the 2026 Geely Galaxy Xingjian 7 EM-i will officially launch on November 19th. The new model primarily upgrades its configuration and pure electric range, with the entry-level model's range increasing from 55km to 130km, and a new 200km range option added. The powertrain will also be upgraded, with the 1.5L engine's maximum power remaining unchanged at 82kW, while the drive motor's power increases from 160kW to 175kW. Simultaneously, the new model will be equipped with the Qianli Haohan H3 intelligent driver assistance system, featuring "small blue lights" on the exterior rearview mirrors, automatic parking, and highway navigation assistance functions.
The biggest highlight of the 2026 Geely Galaxy Xingjian 7 EM-i is its new "H3" intelligent driving solution. This system utilizes cameras added to the sides of the front fenders and rear spoiler, along with an upgraded dual-lens camera and enhanced radar on the windshield, to achieve highway navigation assistance and advanced intelligent parking assistance. Most notably, the "intelligent driving blue light" on the exterior rearview mirrors illuminates when the intelligent driving system is activated, adding a touch of high-tech sophistication.
In terms of powertrain, the new model increases the drive motor power from the current 160kW to 175kW. While the maximum power of the 1.5L engine remains unchanged at 82kW, the overall power performance is significantly improved. The 1.5L naturally aspirated engine boasts a thermal efficiency of 46.5%, currently the highest thermal efficiency engine in mass production globally.
The 2026 Xingjian 7 EM-i achieves a qualitative leap in pure electric range. The entry-level model's range has increased from 55km to 130km, and a new 200km pure electric range version has been added, meaning daily commutes can almost entirely rely on pure electric power.
In terms of exterior design, the 2026 Xingjian 7 retains the futuristic and powerful look of the current model. Except for the base model, all models have been upgraded with the AGS active grille shutter, which automatically opens and closes based on vehicle speed and engine temperature, effectively reducing wind resistance. The official claim is that this adds an extra 5km of pure electric range. A new dark-toned interior option has been added, providing consumers with more choices.
The new car's central control screen has been upgraded from 14.6 inches to 15.4 inches, offering a more visually impactful experience. Meanwhile, it has been upgraded with the Dragon Eagle One cockpit chip and equipped with the Flyme Auto intelligent cockpit system, resulting in a significant improvement in the vehicle's computing power and response speed.
The vehicle's dimensions are 4740×1905×1685mm, with a wheelbase of 2755mm. The trunk features an upper and lower partition design, offering a standard capacity of 428L, with an additional 100L hidden in the lower compartment, for a total capacity of 528L. Folding down the rear seats expands this to 2065L, greatly enhancing convenience for family travel.
Thanks to the new generation Thor EM-i super hybrid technology, combined with the E-DHT intelligent continuously variable 11-in-1 hybrid electric drive, the 2026 Geely Galaxy Xingjian achieves a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.5 seconds, a fuel consumption of 3.75 liters per 100km (CLTC cycle) with a depleted battery, and a combined range of 1420km, truly achieving a perfect balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
