Its near 1:1 width-to-height ratio gives it a particularly rugged and upright stance.
Strong Lines: The front of the vehicle features a combination of round headlights and a robust front grille, with a thick front bumper that enhances its sense of power. The car's side profile features straight lines, wide wheel arches, and an optional floating roof design, further emphasizing its rugged heritage.
Rear Highlights: The most striking feature of the rear is the option of either an externally mounted full-size spare tire or a storage compartment (commonly known as a "small backpack"). The tailgate uses a side-opening design, balancing practicality with the classic off-road vehicle's ceremonial feel.
The new car's interior continues the family's minimalist layout while emphasizing a technological atmosphere and passenger comfort.
Technological Cockpit: The interior features a combination of a fully digital instrument cluster and a floating central control screen. Necessary physical buttons are retained in the center console area to ensure ease of operation. A unique gear shifter is located behind the steering wheel, and the center console integrates functions such as a wireless charging pad.
Spacious Space: Thanks to its 2910mm long wheelbase and "large five-seat" layout, the iCAR V27 provides a spacious and comfortable riding experience for both front and rear passengers.

High-end Intelligent Driving Version: According to official information, the top-of-the-line V27 will be equipped with the Horizon Journey 6P intelligent driving assistance chip, boasting the highest computing power in China, and will also feature LiDAR, expected to elevate its intelligent assistance capabilities to the top tier in the industry. While the version submitted to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) does not currently include LiDAR, this foreshadows future upgrades.
Powertrain is a core highlight of the iCAR V27. As iCAR's first range-extended electric vehicle, it successfully addresses the range anxiety of rugged SUV users.
Core Components: The vehicle is equipped with a CHERY 1.5T range-extended dedicated engine (model SQRH4J15), with a maximum net power output of 105kW.
Dual Version Options: Two drive modes are available: rear-wheel drive with a single motor and four-wheel drive with dual motors. Official data shows that the four-wheel drive version has a combined maximum power output of 335kW (approximately 455 horsepower), providing strong performance.
Exceptional Range: The vehicle is equipped with battery packs of different capacities, offering multiple CLTC pure electric ranges of 90km, 145km, and 150km. With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, the combined range is expected to exceed 1000km, achieving the goal of "versatile electric and gasoline, long-distance range." The WLTC fuel consumption in range-extended mode is only 1.33L/100km.
