On June 11, 2025, Xiaomi Motors announced that the mass-produced version of SU7 Ultra set a lap time of 7 minutes 04.957 seconds at the Nürburgring Nordschleife in Germany, surpassing the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (7:07.55) to become the new "fastest mass-produced electric vehicle". This is the first time that a Chinese brand has topped the performance list of electric vehicles on this track. On May 26, Xiaomi Auto disclosed in the latest technical Q&A that the 100-speed active air intake grille system equipped with the YU7 model can achieve 18Counts drag coefficient optimization, and directly contributes to 14km range improvement in the fully closed state. This system can complete 0-100-speed stepless adjustment within 0.15 seconds by sensing 12 parameters such as vehicle speed and battery temperature in real time, taking into account both heat dissipation requirements and energy efficiency optimization.
