Specification

BYD E7 ‌ is a mid-sized pure electric sedan launched by BYD for the online car-hailing and home use markets. The 2025 model is built based on the "upward aesthetics" design language, focusing on the balance between practicality and economy, taking into account both operational scenarios and family user needs. The new car continues BYD's blade battery technology and efficient power system, provides multiple versions of endurance options, and optimizes the detailed design for online car-hailing scenarios.

Model Core Highlights ‌

Design and Space ‌

The exterior adopts a closed front face and "X"-shaped guide groove design, with a through-type taillight group and a fastback coupe shape, and the drag coefficient is as low as 0.25. The traditional mechanical door handles and 16-inch smoked black wheels are retained to reduce maintenance costs and improve practicality.

The body size is 4780×1900×1515mm, the wheelbase is 2820mm, the back row can accommodate three adults, the knee space is more than two fists, and the regular trunk volume is 594L. The interior is customized for online car-hailing scenarios, with details such as document slots and meter installation positions, and the equipment integration is increased by 40%.

Power and endurance ‌

The entire series is equipped with a front single motor with a maximum power of 100kW, a peak torque of 180N·m, and a zero-to-hundred acceleration of about 10 seconds, which is specially tuned for urban commuting.

Two blade batteries with 48kWh and 57.6kWh capacities are available, with CLTC ranges of 450km and 520km respectively, and 80% of the power can be replenished in 30 minutes of fast charging. The high-end version is equipped with heat pump air conditioning, and the winter endurance attenuation rate is 15% lower than that of the same level.

Intelligent and comfortable configuration ‌

Standard 10.1-inch or 15.6-inch floating central control screen (top configuration supports DiLink 100 system), integrated voice interaction and OTA upgrade functions.

High-end models are equipped with panoramic images, front seat heating/ventilation and 6 airbags, and NVH optimization and rear multi-directional air outlets improve riding comfort.

Overview of 2025 Models‌

450 Smart Edition‌

For high-frequency urban travel scenarios, the CLTC has a range of 450km, supports 70kW fast charging and basic intelligent driving functions, and comes standard with dual airbags and multiple USB charging ports in the rear.

520 Smart Edition‌

Upgraded 57.6kWh battery pack, the range is increased to 520km, and the charging time is shortened to 26 minutes (30%-80%), which is suitable for medium and long-distance operation needs.

520 Smart Edition‌

Added LED ambient lights, driver's seat ventilation/heating and front side airbags + air curtains, the intelligent configuration is further enhanced, and supports customized driving modes and remote vehicle control.

BYD E7 has become a benchmark model in the 100,000 yuan pure electric market that takes into account economy, safety and scene adaptability through differentiated configuration and battery swap ecosystem support (the whole series is compatible with BYD battery swap stations).
