On March 26, 2026, the 2026 Song Ultra EV—a brand-new B-segment pure-electric SUV from BYD's Dynasty Series—was officially launched. Available in four distinct trims, the new vehicle is positioned as the premier pure-electric family vehicle for the "Flash Charging Era." Centered around the second-generation Blade Battery and Flash Charging technology, the new model comes fully equipped with the DiSus-C Intelligent Damping Body Control System, the TBC High-Speed Tire Blowout Stabilization System, and the "God's Eye" Intelligent Driving Solution, thereby redefining the value benchmark for pure-electric SUVs in the 150,000-yuan price segment.
Both models are equipped with a 69.07 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, delivering a CLTC-rated pure-electric range of 605 km. The electric motor generates a maximum power output of 240 kW, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h. The standard configuration adopts a "fully loaded right from the entry level" philosophy; the entire lineup comes standard with the second-generation Blade Battery, Flash Charging technology, memory functions for both driver and front passenger seats, 50W dual-zone wireless charging, a panoramic glass roof (with sunshade), an electric tailgate, front-row far-side airbags, and multi-functional expansion ports. Building upon the Leading Edition, the Transcendence Edition adds a host of enhanced comfort and intelligent features—such as four-zone voice interaction, a 16-speaker DiLink audio system, and an intelligent heating/cooling storage box—further elevating the overall driving and riding experience. Both models support rapid charging at normal ambient temperatures: a 5-minute charge (from 10% to 70% SOC) adds over 300 km of range, while a 9-minute charge reaches 97% SOC, effectively alleviating range anxiety.
The long-range versions feature a high-capacity 82.7 kWh battery pack, boosting the CLTC-rated range to 710 km—sufficient to easily complete inter-city journeys (such as from Hangzhou to Wuhan) without the need for recharging. The powertrain is upgraded to a high-power 270 kW electric motor; notably, the 0–100 km/h acceleration time remains 6.8 seconds, ensuring that the extended range is achieved without compromising performance. As the flagship trim level, the "Excellence" model introduces a host of new features—including a 26-inch W-HUD head-up display, a power-adjustable leg rest for the front passenger, seat massage/ventilation/heating functions, an intelligent fragrance system, and 19-inch low-drag alloy wheels—to create a cabin experience that transcends its class in luxury. Both trim levels offer the "Eye of God" B-Pilot Assist (Laser Edition)—DiPilot 300—as an optional upgrade. Equipped with forward-facing LiDAR and powered by the "Eye of God 5.0" large-model system, this advanced suite supports high-level functions such as Urban NOA (Navigate-on-Autopilot), autonomous traffic light negotiation at intersections, U-turns in narrow spaces, and automated parking in complex lots, achieving "all-seeing, all-hearing" intelligent driving coverage across every scenario.
The entire Song Ultra EV lineup comes standard with BYD's second-generation Blade Battery. Having successfully passed extreme tests—such as undergoing a "nail penetration test while flash charging after 500 flash charging cycles"—its safety and durability lead the industry. The battery warranty policy has also been upgraded: battery cells are now covered by a lifetime warranty, with free replacement offered if capacity degrades below 77.5%. This is complemented by BYD's proprietary 1,500 kW "Rail-Suspended T-Type" flash charging network, which supports seamless payment and liquid-cooling thermal management, enabling a "plug-and-charge, charge-and-go" experience. Even in low-temperature environments, charging efficiency sees a delay of only three minutes—truly making "charging as fast as refueling." The entire series features the standard "DiSus-C" Intelligent Damping System, which adjusts shock absorption damping in milliseconds to strike a perfect balance between handling stability and ride comfort. Additionally, the TBC High-Speed Tire Blowout Stabilization System automatically stabilizes the vehicle body in the event of a tire blowout at speeds of up to 140 km/h, significantly enhancing high-speed driving safety. High-strength steel constitutes 77% of the vehicle body structure, and the car is equipped with seven airbags throughout, establishing a comprehensive passive safety protection system.
