BYD XIA 2025 model introduction

1. Design Language and Model Positioning

Exterior Design

Continuing BYD's “Loong Face Aesthetics” design language, the front face is equipped with a large-sized air intake grille and matrix LED light clusters, and the chrome grille trim is inlaid with the “Xia” logo; the rear adopts penetrating tail lamps and hidden side sliding door rails, and the top model supports the AR projection sensor to open the side sliding door and the trunk. The body dimensions are 5145×1970×1805mm, the wheelbase is 3045mm, positioned as a medium-large plug-in hybrid MPV, providing a 7-seat (2+2+3) layout, the third row supports one-touch electric folding, and the trunk volume is expanded to a maximum of 2036L.

Interior style

Equipped with a floating 15.6-inch center control screen + 12.3-inch full LCD instrumentation, the top model increases the passenger entertainment screen and the rear ceiling LCD screen, support for three-screen linkage operation; the center console with soft materials and real wood veneer, with 128-color ambient lighting and “mountain décolletage + sandalwood brown and rice” dual-color upholstery. The center console is made of soft materials and real wood trim, with 128-color ambient lighting and dual-color interior trim of “Faraway Mountain Di+Tan Brown Rice”.

2. Power and range performance

DM-i plug-in hybrid power system:

Equipped with fifth-generation DM technology, the combination of 1.5T plug-in hybrid engine (maximum power 115kW) and front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor (maximum power 200kW) results in a combined system power of 315kW, and zero hundred acceleration of 8.1 seconds, matched with the E-CVT continuously variable transmission, with a smooth and efficient power output.

Two battery capacity versions are available:

Standard range version: 20.39kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, CLTC pure electric range of 80km;

Long range version: 36.63kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, CLTC pure electric range of 145km;

Combined range up to 1060km on full fuel and full charge, WLTC fuel consumption as low as 5.3L/100km on loss of charge.

Charging efficiency: supports 73kW fast charging technology, and the long range version can be charged from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes.

3、Intelligent Technology Configuration

Intelligent Cockpit

All models come standard with DiLink 150 intelligent car system, built-in BYD 9000 customized AI chip, supporting 5G network, full-scene voice interaction and three-finger flying screen operation, and the top model is equipped with 28-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system.

High-order Driving Assistance

All models are equipped with the “Eye of God” DiPilot 100 system as standard, which includes L2.5 assisted driving functions (high-speed navigation, automatic parking, lever lane change, etc.), equipped with 5 millimeter-wave radars, 14 high-definition cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, with a hardware arithmetic power of 508 TOPS. The hardware arithmetic power is 508TOPS.

4. Space and Comfort

Seating Features:

The second row is equipped with zero-gravity seats that support heating/ventilation/massage/legrest adjustment, the third row seats can be folded by one-touch electric power, and a 190mm channel is reserved between the second and third rows for easy access.

Luxury configuration:

Four-zone independent air-conditioning, on-board compressor refrigerator, small table board with power sunshade are standard on all models; heated steering wheel, leather seats and rear ceiling entertainment screen are added to the top model.

Chassis technology:

Adopting front MacPherson + rear four-link independent suspension, standard equipped with Yun-van-C intelligent damping control system, supporting pre-aimed road condition adjustment, taking into account the maneuverability and comfort.

5. Applicable Scenarios

Family travel: 7-seat space with two-row zero-gravity seats to meet the needs of long-distance travel for many people;

Business reception: luxury interior and three-screen linkage design to enhance the high-end car experience;
