The BYD XIA DM-i 2026 is a mid-to-large-sized MPV that blends Eastern aesthetics with modern technology, aiming to provide families with a "first-class" travel experience. The new model features comprehensive upgrades in configuration, intelligent technology, and comfort, further enhancing its market competitiveness.

Exterior and Design

The 2026 XIA continues the "Dragon Face Aesthetics" design language, featuring a large, armor-style dot-matrix grille, paired with "dragon whisker eye" LED headlights and a "fang"-shaped front bumper, creating a striking visual effect. The vehicle measures 5145mm in length, 1970mm in width, and 1805mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3045mm, providing ample interior space. The new model adds a new Bamboo Green paint option and two two-tone colors, offering more exterior choices.

Interior and Space

The 2026 XIA features a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central control screen, with the top-of-the-line model offering an optional 26-inch W-HUD and a passenger-side entertainment screen. The cabin is designed with a "four waters returning to the hall" concept, emphasizing both technological sophistication and practicality. The second-row seats offer ventilation, heating, and massage functions, and the center armrest controls the in-car refrigerator. The third-row seats can be folded down with a single touch, expanding the trunk space to 2036L to meet the diverse needs of family travel.

Intelligent Features and Safety

In terms of intelligent driving, the top-of-the-line model is equipped with the "God's Eye-B Assisted Driving Laser Edition," supporting city navigation, high-speed navigation, and intelligent parking functions. All models come standard with an intelligent anti-motion sickness system and a TBC high-speed tire blowout stability system, enhancing driving safety and comfort. The advanced intelligent cockpit version, DiLink150, supports 5G networks, four-area voice recognition, and adds interconnectivity features with brands such as Breo and Goodbaby.

Powertrain and Range

The powertrain features BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, offering a maximum pure electric range of 218km with the CLTC, and a combined range of up to 1163km with a full tank of gas and a fully charged battery. Fuel consumption when the battery is depleted is 4.9L/100km. In terms of chassis, the Yunlian-C intelligent damping body control system and intelligent anti-motion sickness technology further optimize the driving experience.
