VW ID.6 X 2023 new energy vehicle is a mid-sized and large-sized intelligent pure electric SUV built by Shanghai VW Automobile based on the MEB pure electric platform, with the core concept of “family all-around driving”, providing a flexible layout of 6/7 seats and all-scenario mobility solutions, and launching three main models: Pure Edition, Pure Long-Range Edition, and Extreme Intelligence Long-Range Edition. The Pure Edition, Pure Long Range Edition and Extreme Intelligence Long Range Edition are the three main models. With German quality, flexible space and high-level intelligent technology, the series meets the dual needs of family users for comfort and practicality.
German Aesthetics and Space Philosophy
With a smooth and full body design, a wheelbase of 2965mm, and body dimensions of 4876mm x 1848mm x 1680mm, the 3 rows of the car create a spacious riding space, and the flexible layout of the 6/7 seats supports a wide range of family travel scenarios, and the third row of seats can be extended to a large trunk of 1820L after being put down to easily accommodate camping gears or children's strollers. All models are equipped with openable panoramic sunroof and electric tailgate as standard, which enhances the convenience of use.
Immersive Intelligent Interaction
Equipped with AR-HUD augmented reality navigation system, which can project lane guidance and collision warning information onto the front windshield to reduce driving distractions, the 12-inch floating center control screen integrates the Smart Car Link system, which supports voice interaction (continuous command recognition), Smart Entertainment, and Smart Charging, and the top model adds new dynamic matrix headlamps and 30-color ambient lighting to create a sense of technological cabin atmosphere.
High-efficiency three-electric performance
The single-motor rear-drive version offers two power versions, 132kW and 150kW, with CLTC ranges of 460km and 617km, respectively, and supports 0.67 hours of fast-charging replenishment (30%-80%). The whole system is equipped with intelligent thermal management system and Li-ion ternary battery pack, which has passed 338 battery safety tests to ensure stability in extreme environments.
All-around safety guarding
Standardly equipped with 6 airbags, 360-degree panoramic image and RPA remote parking function, the body adopts high-strength steel and 360°battery armor design, and passes 12 years of body anti-corrosion verification. Equipped with Travel Assist 3.0 intelligent driving system, which supports L2+ level driver assistance and interactive lane change, and a new 8cm limit spacing auto-passing mode, which makes it more comfortable to deal with narrow road conditions.
Model configuration differences
Pure Edition: The base model comes standard with 18-inch wheels, reversing camera and basic L2-level driver assistance, suitable for urban commuting and short-distance travel;
Pure Long Range Edition: range is increased to 617km, upgraded with 20-inch low wind resistance wheels and dynamic matrix headlights, and a new camping mode (supporting 2.2kW external discharge);
Extreme Intelligent Long Range Edition: Exclusive AR-HUD navigation, heated/ventilated front seats and three-zone temperature-controlled air-conditioning, equipped with Harman Kardon audio and digital key function, the intelligent driving experience is comprehensively advanced.
