On May 29, 2025, BYD's high-end brand Yangwang Automobile announced that the first batch of customer cars of the world's first super four-electric flagship sedan U7 officially rolled off the assembly line and will soon start nationwide delivery. The model was launched on March 27 this year, providing pure electric and plug-in hybrid dual-power versions, with a price range of RMB 628,000-708,000, marking the official entry of new energy vehicles into the "four-electric era".

The first batch of delivered models has been registered with the "Technical Requirements for New Energy Vehicle Products for Reduction and Exemption of Vehicle Purchase Tax" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.
