On November 21st, the Yangwang U7 officially debuted its new "Starry Blue" color and new interior "Sunrise Orange" color at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show. The new "Starry Blue" color design is inspired by the starlight trails in the deep universe. Through a seven-layer nano-coating process and the addition of rare earth elements, it achieves a crystal-like texture under light and a shimmering ripple effect in low light. This paint finish is completed in a fully automated painting workshop in Huizhou, Guangdong, with only 12 vehicles processed daily, highlighting its unique value.
The new car continues the "Time Gate" family design language, featuring the iconic C-shaped headlights. The pure electric version has a thicker light strip, while the plug-in hybrid version is slimmer. The car features a fastback design and hidden door handles, combined with low-drag wheels and an electric rear spoiler, achieving a drag coefficient of 0.195, ranking among the top mass-produced vehicles globally. According to the application information, its plug-in hybrid version has dimensions of 5360/2000/1515mm and a wheelbase of 3200mm, creating a flagship stance that combines elegance and dynamism.
1. Interior
The interior adds a new "Sunrise Orange" color option, echoing the exterior's Galaxy Blue. The center console adopts a symmetrical layout, equipped with a large vertical central screen, flanked by an LCD instrument panel and a passenger entertainment screen, forming a multi-screen interactive system. All models come standard with Nappa leather seats, made from top-grain German Bavarian cowhide, treated with a vegetable tanning process, and featuring a 16-point pneumatic massage system supporting ventilation, heating, and three intensity levels.
The high-spec four-seater version is further equipped with dual rear floating screens, dual refrigerators, and a Dynaudio Platinum Evidence series sound system, combined with a 220V power outlet, creating a mobile office and relaxation space. The world's first 23.6-inch naked-eye 3D instrument panel provides a stereoscopic display effect without the need for glasses, and is paired with a 70-inch AR-HUD head-up display, deeply integrating navigation and intelligent driving information.
2. Intelligent Driving
The Yangwang U7 is equipped with the DiPilot 600 advanced intelligent driving tri-laser system, integrating 3 lidar, 5 millimeter-wave radar, 13 cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars. It also features dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips, achieving a computing power of 508 TOPS, supporting high-speed navigation without high-precision maps, and achieving automatic emergency braking at speeds up to 120 km/h.
3. Vehicle Cloud-Floating Technology
The Cloud-Floating-Z intelligent suspension system debuts on the Yangwang U7. Through four floating motors directly driving the suspension, it reduces the adjustment response time to 10 milliseconds, dozens of times faster than traditional active suspensions. It achieves active adjustment with a vertical precision of 1 millimeter, effectively filtering bumps and improving comfort and stability.
The EasyFour-Motor system gives each wheel independent drive capability, with a peak power of 240 kW per motor and a total vehicle power exceeding 1300 horsepower. It supports extreme scenario control such as tank turns and tire blowout stability.
The fully digital chassis integrates data from 36 sensors, including binocular cameras and 4D millimeter-wave radar. Combined with the rear-wheel steering system, this sedan, over 5.2 meters long, can turn with a minimum diameter of 5.8 meters, comparable to the agility of a compact car.
4. Performance
Pure Electric Version: Equipped with four electric motors, delivering a total power of 1306 hp, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds, and a top speed of 270 km/h; matched with a 135.5 kWh high-performance blade battery, achieving a CLTC range of 720 km, and supporting 800V high-voltage fast charging with a maximum charging power of 500 kW.
Plug-in Hybrid Version: Utilizes a 2.0T high-efficiency engine combined with four electric motors, achieving a system-wide power of 1306 hp; equipped with a 52.4 kWh battery pack, providing a pure electric range of 200 km and a combined range exceeding 1000 km.
5. Market Positioning
The Yangwang U7, priced between RMB 628,000 and 708,000, directly competes with traditional luxury brand gasoline models such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series. Leveraging core technologies such as Yunlian-Z, YiSiFang, and advanced intelligent driving, it redefines the technological threshold for million-yuan-level luxury sedans.
