Lixiang Automobile announced today that it will officially start pre-ordering the i8 pure electric SUV on July 17 and release it on July 29.
Dual versions of endurance: 670km/720km endurance under CLTC conditions, support 5C ultra-fast charging (500km of energy replenishment in 10 minutes);
Performance: dual-motor four-wheel drive with a combined power of 400kW, zero-to-hundred acceleration of 3.8 seconds;
Intelligent standard configuration: full-series laser radar + dual Orin chips, support AEB/AES high-level intelligent driving;
Lixiang i8 adopts a crossover fastback shape, the front face continues the closed grille and star ring light strip of MEGA, the hidden door handles on the side of the car reduce the drag coefficient to below 0.215Cd, and the through-type lights at the rear are in the same vein as L9. Three low-drag wheels (20/21 inches) and two-color body options are available.
The body size is 5085×1960×1740mm, and the wheelbase is 3050mm, which exceeds the 2965mm of Model X. It adopts a 2+2+2 six-seat layout, with two rows of independent electric seats with heating/ventilation/massage, equipped with a 15.7-inch floating dual screen, AR-HUD and a 5-50℃ smart refrigerator.
Battery: 5C ternary lithium battery (90.1kWh/97.8kWh) supplied by CATL/Xinwoda
Charging: 800V high-voltage platform first launched, and adapted to Lixiang's self-built 5C supercharging network (reaching 2,500 seats by the end of the year)
Electric drive: self-developed silicon carbide motor, front 150kW asynchronous + rear 250kW permanent magnet combination
Intelligent driving: Hesai ATL laser radar + dual NVIDIA Orin-X chips, support urban NOA
Safety: standard AEB automatic emergency braking, AES emergency steering
Interaction: voice assistant "Li xiang Tong xue" 4.0 + rear 8-inch touch screen
Lixiang i8 is expected to start at a price of RMB 350,000-400,000, benchmarking NIO ES8 and Model X. With the start of pre-orders on July 17, this flagship SUV with the mission of Lixiang's pure electric transformation will soon be tested by the market.
