On August 20, 2025, Lixiang Motors held a special delivery ceremony at its Changzhou Intelligent Manufacturing Base in Jiangsu Province, China. The first fleet of Lixiang i8s departed for 19 cities across China. This new six-seat pure electric mid-to-large SUV has begun mass deliveries at a uniform price of RMB 339,800 (formerly the Max version), marking the substantial entry of Lixiang Motors' pure electric strategy into its development phase.
Dimensions: 5085mm long x 1960mm wide x 1740mm high, with a wheelbase of 3050mm, 85mm longer than the Model X.
Seating: 2+2+2 seating for six, with second-row Zero Gravity seats offering 12-way power adjustment and ventilation, heating, and massage functions.
Storage: 580L regular trunk capacity, expandable to 1840L with the third row folded down.
Battery Configuration: Two 90.1kWh and 97.8kWh 5C Supercharge battery packs are available, with a CLTC range of 670km and 720km, respectively.
Charging Technology: A 10-minute charge allows for a 500km range, and the 90.1kWh model can be fully charged in 7 hours on a 220V home charger.
Power: 544 horsepower combined with dual-motor all-wheel drive, 0-100km acceleration in 4.5 seconds, and a top speed of 180km/h.
Intelligent Driving System: All models are equipped with Hesai ATL LiDAR as standard, and the Ultra/Max versions are equipped with a 700TOPS NVIDIA Thor-U chip.
Interactive Experience: A four-screen combination of dual 15.7-inch connected screens, AR-HUD, and an interactive steering wheel screen.
Comfort: Standard features include dual-chamber air suspension, a 20-speaker platinum audio system, and an 8-liter refrigerator with heating and cooling.
Lixiang Auto CEO Li Xiang stated that the factory is accelerating production at a capacity of 300 units per day and plans to deliver over 8,000 units before National Day.
