SAIC AUDI's first model, the E5 Sportback, has opened for pre-sale, starting at RMB 235,900

On August 18, 2025, the SAIC AUDI brand officially launched pre-sale services for the E5 Sportback, its first strategic model. Four trim levels are available, with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 235,900 to RMB 319,900. As the first German luxury pure electric coupe to break the RMB 300,000 price mark, it is built on a Sino-German Advanced Digital Platform (ADAP). Utilizing a forward-thinking R&D model, the German team led chassis tuning (including rear-wheel steering and the quattro all-wheel drive system), while the Chinese team oversaw intelligent development.
