On September 7, 2025, Porsche unveiled the 2026 911 Turbo S, codenamed 992.2, at the Munich Motor Show. Pre-sales began at RMB 2.728 million for the Coupe and RMB 2.878 million for the Cabriolet. Equipped with Porsche's pioneering T-Hybrid twin-electric turbocharged system, the new car boasts a combined power of 711 horsepower (523 kilowatts), accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, and laps the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 3.92 seconds, a 14-second improvement over its predecessor. This makes it the most powerful production 911 in the brand's history.
T-Hybrid Technology Architecture
A 3.6-liter flat-six engine with twin electric turbochargers. Electric motors are integrated into the turbine and compressor shafts, enabling instantaneous response and braking energy recovery.
A 1.9 kWh/400 V lithium-ion battery is housed in the trunk, and the PDK transmission features an integrated electric motor. Peak system torque is 800 Nm (2300-6000 rpm).
Compared to the previous generation: 61 horsepower increased, fuel consumption reduced by 12%, and emissions meet Euro 7 standards.
