On November 7th, Leapmotor officially opened pre-sales for its new 2026 Lafa 5 model. The new car offers two range options: 515km and 605km, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 105,800 to 131,800. It will officially launch on November 28th.

The Leapmotor Lafa 5 is positioned as a "high-value sporty coupe," its name derived from four core values: "Lifestyle," "Attitude," "Freedom," and "Art." The vehicle measures 4430/1880/1520mm, with a wheelbase of 2735mm. Its class-leading 1880mm width and 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution create a low-slung, wide-body coupe stance.
The exterior design adopts a "technological and natural aesthetics" concept, employing 16 aerodynamic design features, including an AGS active air intake grille and a wind-breaking front lip, to reduce the drag coefficient to 0.256, effectively increasing the CLTC's range by 35km.
