On November 12th, Great Wall Motor (GWM) launched pre-sales for its first all-electric SUV, the 2026 ORA 5. Positioned as a compact SUV, the new vehicle continues the "cat-like" family design language, features lidar, supports advanced driver assistance functions, and offers two range options: 480km and 580km. It covers five configurations, including the 480km Air/Pro, 580km Max, and a lidar version, with pre-sale prices ranging from RMB 109,800 to RMB 142,800.

On November 9th, Great Wall Motor (GWM)'s ORA brand announced that the pre-sale launch event for its first all-electric SUV, the ORA 5, will be held at Baoding on November 12th at 16:30.

On June 12, the ORA brand officially launched the pre-sale of the 2025 Cat series at the "Meet the Classics" design aesthetics tasting meeting. The new car is available in two versions: standard version and GT Mulan version, with pre-sale prices of RMB 89,800-109,800 and RMB 102,800-112,800 respectively. The whole series is equipped with six limited-time benefits, covering insurance, replacement subsidies and other rights.

On May 19, 2025, Hesai Technology officially announced an exclusive fixed-point cooperation with Great Wall Motor (GWM)'s ORA brand. Its new generation of models will be equipped with Hesai LiDARs, and it is expected to achieve mass production and gradual delivery to users within 2025. This cooperation marks the further upgrade of GWM Automobile in the level of intelligent driving perception, and is also the deep technical binding of Hesai Technology with GWM brands after WEY Blue Mountain and Alpine models.
