Seal 06EV under BYD Ocean Network will be officially launched at the 2025 Chongqing Auto Show which will open on June 7. The car is positioned as a pure electric mid-size car, adopting a rear-wheel drive architecture + Yunnian-C, and will reshape the 150,000-level pure electric market. The new car adopts a new ocean aesthetic design language, the front face "Ocean-X" closed grille is matched with willow-shaped LED headlights, the body lines are smooth and natural, and the fastback shape and semi-hidden door handles enhance the sense of sportiness. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4720×1880×1495mm respectively, the wheelbase is 2820mm, and the rear legroom is comparable to that of medium and large sedans. Power system: two rear-mounted single-motor versions of 110kW/160kW are available, with a peak torque of 310N·m, acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers in 7.5 seconds, and a CLTC range of 470km/545km;
Battery safety: equipped with blade batteries that have passed the new national standard test, 400kN extrusion test (4 times the national standard), 70km/h scraping test without fire and explosion;
Chassis technology: rear-wheel drive architecture + front McPherson/rear five-link suspension, high-end equipped with Yunnian-C intelligent damping control system;
The entire series is equipped with a three-eye camera high-end intelligent driving system as standard, supporting more than 20 functions such as high-speed navigation (automatic lane change/ramp passage) and valet parking. The interior is equipped with a 15.6-inch rotating screen, panoramic sunroof and front ventilated seats, and the armrest design frees up the central control space.
As BYD Ocean Network's strategic model, Seal 06EV will form differentiated competition with Qin L EV, directly targeting Xiaopeng MONA M03, Polar Fox Alpha S5 and other competitors.
