On July 14, 2025, BYD officially pushed version 1.1.0 OTA upgrade to all 25 Seal 06 GT models. This update covers 10 new functions and 7 optimizations, further strengthening the intelligent attributes of this mid-size sports sedan.
New sentinel mode, which monitors the surrounding environment in real time through 12 cameras on the body, and automatically triggers video alarms in abnormal situations (need to be used with the latest version of the App).
Voice reminder of traffic light change: combined with map countdown data, real-time broadcast through 6 tones of full-scene intelligent voice;
Added AI smart Q&A supported by DeepSeek-R1 large model, which can handle complex problems and display the reasoning process;
The shortcut command function supports voice customization of vehicle linkage scenes (such as "sports mode" automatically adjusts seats/air conditioning);
The music app has added QQ music access and supports voice song search control; added AI painting, encyclopedia Q&A and other voice AI intelligent functions.
As a product of the e-platform 3.0 Evo architecture, Seal 06 GT adopts 800V high-voltage platform and CTB battery body integration technology, providing:
Single motor rear-wheel drive (up to 605km range) and dual motor four-wheel drive (4.9 seconds to break 100) versions;
DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system (L2 level) includes automatic parking and lane navigation functions;
The high-end version of the smart cockpit DiLink100 supports 3D car control, 14-speaker JBL audio and other configurations;
According to the "Recommended Model Catalog for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles" (the 6th batch in 2025) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the energy consumption of this model is 12.1kWh/100km (CLTC working conditions), and it only takes 18 minutes to charge 10%-80% in fast charging mode.
This OTA will be pushed in batches, and Seal 06 GT owners who have not received the update need to wait patiently. BYD officially recommends keeping the vehicle battery level above 30% and connecting to a stable Wi-Fi network before upgrading.
