On September 16, 2025, BYD's Changan Network announced the addition of a 175km all-electric range option to the Tang DM-i Intelligent Driving Edition. The official starting price is 179,800 yuan, with a 10,000 yuan trade-in incentive (available until the end of October), bringing the actual price down to 159,800 yuan.
